No working shower for an 8 day stay

One star is to many. Owner and VRBO refused to fix the only shower in the condo. During our 8 day stay, we had to go to a camp ground about 20 minutes away, each way. We let two plumbers in to look at the shower for the owner, at our inconvenience, only to have the him say it was to much money to fix it. ABSURD.

Wonderful condo

The condo was wonderful and a perfect location. Cyclists who want to ride the Indian Bend Wash would especially like it. Overall it was convenient to so many things in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. Two grocery stores and many breakfast places close by (Snooze, First Watch, Chompies). Only knock on the place was the lack cable (many streaming options though). Overall a nice place in a quiet complex.

Less Than Steller- we would not recommend this property

The positives - the Grounds, pool and surrounding areas were clean and well kept. Location good. Once we found it. The directions were not clear to out of towners and when we called the 800 number the office person had us running around in circles in the area bring us back to the same place with no building number. That was frustrating. The Condo was just above a tent. The linens if they were washed were stored in a cleaning closet. So we had to rewash them. The sofa in the living room had foot prints all over it. The TV in the living room didn't work so if we wanted to watch TV while we were there we had to watch it sitting on the end of the bed. Speaking of bed. The linens were old, didn't fit the bed or pillows. They were balled and need to be replaced. They were creepy to sleep on. Sleeping was near impossible as the air conditioner unit was so loud it woke us up all night. It sounded like a 747 taking off. The kitchen was cleanish? but old and dingy. There was one pot , It was so beat up it wasn't flat on the stove. We had anticipated cooking and eating in while we were there. It is an upper unit but the balcony was not usable as there was no furniture on it. We have always had great luck booking with Vrbo this was not one of those times. We would not book this again!

The worst vrbo experience ever

The place was a huge disappointment and very frustrating to work with the host. First, when we arrived, we could not find the condo. Knowing a building number would have been helpful. The condo was not conveniently located to any place within walking distance. When we opened the door, a heat wave came over us. The temperature was 81 degrees in the house. We turned on the air conditioning and after running all night long it was still 78 degrees in the condo. The lack of linens made it difficult to set up the couch for 2 people. We also thought the bed was a queen size, but it was clearly a full size. The lack of dishes and supplies in the kitchen was surprising since most places I have stayed are well stocked. The blinds were broken. The pool outside of the condo was closed down and being repaired, which was not disclosed to us at booking. We left the next morning to stay at a new place. The next day, I sent photos and the information contained in this review to the host. As of eight days and multiple communications on my part, the host has still not resolved the problem. VRBO does not have a customer help number to help me get a refund. They request that you work with the host, but the host has yet to refund my payment. I would not recommend this place, this host, and Vrbo.

Good location poor management

I waited a few months to review because this was my first Vrbo and did not know what to expect., I took a chance when I booked as there was no reviews.. it looked clean so that was my biggest reason I booked.. I’ve since stayed at another Vrbo and have something to compare it to . Location was good close to many restaurants and easy access to roadways as we were there to golf at many different locations. Pool was under construction with jack hammers we were never told. This was a problem because my husband was working remote and could not work from the condo. We asked how long this would go on and response was at least two days.. by then the jack hammers had stopped., but the worst was the sheets that felt like sand paper!! For a new listing sheets should have been new. Towels were wet hanging in the closet upon our arrival. I had to buy a frying pan and a knife among other things the kitchen had next to nothing we left it better than when we got there.. the lady at store asked us if we were new to town since we had to stock up on everything from garbage bags to spatula., the whole time we were there the sink in bathroom was leaking .. we had to shut the water on and off to prevent a flood., I told the host and nothing was ever done.. we stayed almost two weeks. Luckily the weather was great and there is a great bike walking path nearby or I would have been miserable. Also the neighbor beneath had dogs that bark the whole time when the owner is gone., no furniture on deck . Needs a lot done to give a good review

Plushyhost Scottsdale review

Good location and very clean property. Definitely could use (1) furniture on balcony as in a couple of chairs and a small table to make balcony usable (2) bedroom furniture (bed side table and chest of drawers for clothing Very high marks for cleanliness, quiet and peaceful location with good access to amenities.
