Tina and Franco welcome you to their property La Tinaia, located in the hills south-west of Florence, 10 km from the historic centre and 5 from the T1 tramway. Over the past 30 years we have produced wine and extra virgin olive oil of excellent quality and welcomed guests from all over the world to our farm. Now younger people take care of the farming and we continue with the tourist business.

The Erica flat is located on the ground floor and has a private space for eating in the garden, it is cool in summer.
The flat consists of a very spacious living room-kitchen, a double bedroom and a large bathroom with shower. The living room has a double sofa bed and a second sofa to sit on. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Erica is very cosy, the furnishings and decoration are very nice, and it is located at the back of the house on the forest side.

This is the ideal place for those who want to spend a peaceful holiday and discover the artistic and natural heritage of Tuscany.

The large garden offers space for outdoor dining, a swimming pool, solarium and barbecue for shared use. For nature lovers, there are trekking and mountain bike trails.

Super séjour en toscane !

We had a fantastic stay. Tina and Franco were attentive to every detail, the room and the grounds were tranquil and lovely, and the proximity to Florence was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Vacances en famille

Tres bon séjour! Le cadre est exceptionnel et la piscine un régal. Malgré l’absence de climatisation il ne faisait pas trop chaud dans le logement. Parfait pour un séjour en famille .

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful environment. La Tinaia is conveniently located for trips into Florence and for exploring Tuscany. There’s a great restaurant within walking distance. Tina and Franco are welcoming hosts and provided great information on the local area.

Rückzugsort in den Bergen von Florenz

Sehr gepflegtes Objekt, dem man ansieht, mit wieviel Liebe es betrieben wird. Schöne Gartenanlage und Pool, leckerer Wein zu fairen Preisen. Hervorzuheben ist das einmal in der Woche durchgeführte gemeinsame Essen für alle Gäste, sehr lecker; es erleichtert das Kennenlernen auch der Gäste untereinander. Top Anbindung nach Florenz, kurze Fahrt mit dem Auto nach Scandicci (10min) dort Park and Ride Parkplatz, von dort mit der Straßenbahn nach Florenz, Ticket 1,50€ p.P. Guter Standort für Ausflüge nach Pisa, auch ans Meer, Lucca, Chianti Classico, Siena (alles < 1h).

Lovely as always & new Italian recipes from Franco

Ever since the start of La Tinaia in 2000, when we found it by shear conincidence, we return once every 1-2 years. La Tinaia is a perfect spot to visit all the highlights of Tuscany, or simply stay on the property and read a book, and it is always a joy to meet Tina & Franco again and enjoy their hospitality and positive attitude. La Tinaia is located on a quite spot, yet it's only 20min from Florence, 10min to the supermarket in Scandicci and the restaurant Fiore (I can recommend the primo 'Pappardelle di Papero' and secondo 'Spezzatino di Cinghiale') is just a 50 meter walk. In the weekend we were invited to join a La Tinaia dinner with all the guests, which was plentiful & superb, like a typical Italian family feast. Antipasti, 2x primi, secondo, torta, vino and grappa, it was all there and all home-made. Chef Franco also shared some new recipes with us, which we will definitely try back home.

vacances à la Tinaia

Nous avons séjourné chez Tina et Franco, deux semaines, dans l'appartement ERICA du 19 juillet au 2 août 2014. Tout était parfait : L'appartement est très propre, confortable et très bien équipé. La piscine est très jolie avec une magnifique vue sur la montagne et les vignes. La situation est idéale pour visiter Florence. Un tram au départ de Scandicci nous amène dans le centre de Florence en 20 minutes. Il existe un tarif famille à la journée très appréciable de 6 euros aller-retour avec les transports illimités dans Florence. L'endroit est idéalement placé pour découvrir les principaux sites touristiques de la Toscane. Tina et Franco sont d'une extrême gentillesse et toujours de bons conseils. Ils ont organisés un repas avec tous les locataires au cours duquel nous avons passé une excellente soirée et dégusté les excellents plats préparés par Franco. Nous avons passé en leur compagnie d'excellentes vacances ainsi que nos enfants Mélanie et Alexis. Nous conseillerons cette location à nos proches et nos amis et nous pensons y revenir un jour. Excellent

Nous avons passé quatre jours délicieux à la TINAIA chez Tina et Franco. L'appartement ERICA est décoré avec beaucoup de soin, très propre et très calme. L'établissement est idéalement situé dans les hauteurs de Scandici en pleine nature mais non loin du Tramway idéal pour aller à Florence. Les propriétaires sont charmants et leur huile d'olive délicieuse ! Un grand merci pour votre accueil et j'espère à bientôt! Guillaume & Laurence

Urlaub in der Toskana

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Toskana verbracht. Das Haus besticht durch seine Lage und die Nähe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Toskana. Tina and Franco: we dreamed of living in a place where we could live in harmony with nature. In 1998 we left our office jobs and city life in Florence to realise our dreams. In 2000 we opened our Agriturismo. Until December 2024, we produced Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil. Since we are no longer young, we have entrusted our land to young farmers, but we continue to share our home with guests from all over the world.

In this area you can find many trails for long walks or biking. Possibility to rent 2 e-bikes. Our swimming pool has a panoramic view and it is always very clean.

For lovers of art and beauty in all its forms, we are very close to Florence and the T1 tramway stop is only 5 km away (10 minutes drive). The ride to Florence by tramway takes 18 minutes. In less than an hour you can reach the most fascinating and beautiful places in Tuscany.
