Cosy apartment in a typical farmhouse minutes to Florence, pool, views, relax.

Tina and Franco welcome you to their property La Tinaia, located on the hills southwest of Florence, 10 km from the historic center and 5 from the tram T1.

During the last 30 years we have produced excellent quality wine and extra virgin olive oil and welcomed guests from all over the world in our farm. Now younger people are involved in agriculture and we continue to deal with tourism.

The apartment I Cipressi is located on the top floor (you climb a staircase) and has beautiful views from all windows. The architecture and decoration are typical of the region.

The apartment consists of a very spacious living room-kitchen, two double bedrooms, one of which is located in the attic, and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. The apartment is very cozy and cared for in every detail.

This is the ideal place for those who want to spend a quiet holiday and discover the artistic and natural heritage of Tuscany.

The large garden offers outdoor dining areas, swimming pool, solarium and barbecue for shared use. For nature lovers, there are hiking and mountain biking trails.

Tour of Tuscany: in less than an hour you can reach the most important artistic and architectural heritage of Tuscany: Fiesole, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Vinci (Leonardo da Vinci), Siena, Pisa, Volterra, Radda.
We live here and will be happy to welcome you and help you if necessary.

La Tinaia farm holiday was created from our love of this area and of nature, and from the desire to share, with friends from all over the world, the tranquillity, the beauty and fine living of this enchanting corner of Tuscany, only 15 minutes by car from Florence.

Franco and me (Tina) left the city life in Florence and the office work on '97 to start a new life in this countryside. We have restaured all the house by ourself with only few helps. The apartments have been personally designed, finished and furnished with particular care, to give you the feeling of “just like home'.

We learned growing olive trees and vineyard and making excellent Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil.

After many years working very hard, we are very proud of our farmholiday 'La Tinaia' and of our top quality products.

We fell in love with this place for its unspoiled nature, sweeping views and beautiful sunsets. We love nature but we also love Florence and the proximity to the town made us decide to live in this paradise.
The house was in state of abandonement and we have spent many years to restore it and transform it completely, trying to valorise its typical Tuscan architecture.
We are happy to offer our guests the opportunity to experience the excitement that this place transmits.

La Tinaia is located in a small corner of paradise, very peaceful, with beautiful views of the hills, vineyards, olive groves and woods. This is the ideal place to recharge.

In this area you can find many trails for long walks or biking. Possibility to rent 2 e-bikes. Our swimming pool has a panoramic view and it is always very clean.

For lovers of art and beauty in all its forms, we are very close to Florence and the T1 tramway stop is only 5 km away (10 minutes drive). The ride to Florence by tramway takes 18 minutes. In less than an hour you can reach the most fascinating and beautiful places in Tuscany.
