Tina and Franco welcome you to their property La Tinaia, located on the hills southwest of Florence, 10 km from the historic center and 5 from the tram T1.

During the last 30 years we have produced excellent quality wine and extra virgin olive oil and welcomed guests from all over the world in our farm. Now younger people are involved in agriculture and we continue to deal with tourism.

The apartment I Cipressi is located on the top floor (you climb a staircase) and has beautiful views from all windows. The architecture and decoration are typical of the region.

The apartment consists of a very spacious living room-kitchen, two double bedrooms, one of which is located in the attic, and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. The apartment is very cozy and cared for in every detail.

This is the ideal place for those who want to spend a quiet holiday and discover the artistic and natural heritage of Tuscany.

The large garden offers outdoor dining areas, swimming pool, solarium and barbecue for shared use. For nature lovers, there are hiking and mountain biking trails.

Tour of Tuscany: in less than an hour you can reach the most important artistic and architectural heritage of Tuscany: Fiesole, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Vinci (Leonardo da Vinci), Siena, Pisa, Volterra, Radda.
We live here and will be happy to welcome you and help you if necessary.

Beautiful Country Stay

La Tinaia is set in the countryside - beautiful property - requires a car to get to the town and to the tram to go into Florence - good location for exploring the countryside and other towns in Tuscany - overall a great place to stay if you are wanting to do more than just Florence!

Charming Tuscany stay

Beautiful property nestled among a vineyard and olive orchard. Spectacular view of hillside and valley. Sunsets were mind blowing. The apt we stayed was truly a home away from home with the Italian flare you would want. Tina, the host was extremely helpful and very nice. Their wine was wonderful and olive oil excellent.

We had a wonderful stay w Franco and Tina. The property is beautiful, the pool was refreshing in June. The walkable restaurant was delicious and La Tinaia wine was perfecto. 20 minutes to Florence and/or Tuscany tastings - then back to relax at the beautiful property. Wake up peacefully to birds chirping. Highly recommend

We recently stayed at La Tinaia for 4 nights and had a great stay. Tina was very responsive from the beginning and met us in person even when we arrived late in the evening. The home is excellent and the views are amazing. We had a relaxing break with the pool and the surroundings. The house is very convenient to do day trips to Certaldo, Lucca, Seina and other Tuscan villages

Gorgeous spot, but not somewhere for young children

This place is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful views, the flat is lovely and clean and it’s in a great location to visit local sights. However, we felt that it is more suited for adults or people travelling without young children. We booked the family apartment and informed the host of our children’s ages upon booking (8 and 6). Within the first day we were told off by the owners twice for being too noisy in the pool despite there were no other guests staying. This really put us on edge for the week, as our kids loved the pool and really wanted to be in it most of the time! We left a day early because of this feeling which was a shame as it really is a lovely spot.

We will be back!

We spent a month at La Tinaia in Sep-Oct 2016. That’s a long time. It’s easy to spoil the entire vacation if one’s living conditions are below expectations. Naturally, we spent a lot of time selecting a place to stay, and boy did we make a right decision! 1. Location. La Tinaia is a 10-15 min drive away from the Tramvia in Scandicci with free parking at the tram station. Trams come every 3-4 minutes. 16-18 min – and you are at Santa Maria Novella, the center of Florence. On the other hand, La Tinaia is a very quiet place right in the middle of unbelievably picturesque area of Tuscany. Take all your lenses if you are involved in photography because you will use all of them! Beautiful sunsets right from the property, hundreds of views to die for within 10 min drive, you name it. 2. Conditions. Rustic style rooms yet convenient kitchen equipment and clean bathrooms; gated parking, a nice pool, outdoor space for lunch, privacy for every guest if you want it. While in Tuscany, we visited several other locations where our friends stayed (including one that we considered “close second”), and La Tinaia was definitely better. 3. Hosts. Tina and Franco are great. They are extremely helpful and very hospitable. What’s more, they invite all their guests to a gourmet dinner once every 1-2 weeks (charging a very reasonable fee). Franco is a fantastic chef, you will be challenged to find this quality of a dinner elsewhere, and even if you do you are guaranteed to pay thrice. 4. Specialty. La Tinaia is actually a winery and they also produce olive oil. Enjoy their products, they worth it. 5. Overall. We will be back. There are so many nice places in the world (and in Toscana), but we will be back.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr schön. Die Lage ist perfekt, um AusflĂŒge in alle Richtungen zu unternehmen. Florenz, Pisa, Siena und viele weitere Ziele sind in maximal 1 Stunde zu erreichen. Tinas Vorschlag, Certaldo zu besuchen, war hervorragend. Eine ruhige und schöne kleine Altstadt und das beste Gelato Crema in der ganzen Toskana. Oder man bleibt am Landhaus und lĂ€sst die Seele baumeln, genießt die Ruhe und Weite und kĂŒhlt sich an heißen Tagen im Pool ab. Einfach Perfekt. Danke Tina und Franco fĂŒr 2 tolle und erholsame Wochen bei euch.

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir waren rundherum mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Das Haus mit der Lage in den Weinbergen und der sehr, sehr gut gepflegte Pool und Garten ĂŒbertrafen die Erwartungen. Einzig und alleine die veraltete sanitĂ€re einrichtung und die alten TĂŒren, die sich nicht leise schließen ließen können bemĂ€ngelt werden.

Ein kleines Paradies

Unser Aufenthalt war eine Freude. Alles war sehr liebevoll und ordentlich im Appartement und auf dem GrundstĂŒck gestaltet. Einmal pro Woche gibt es die Möglichkeit zu einem typisch toskanischen Abendessen, gekocht vom Hausherrn. An beiden Abenden haben alle GĂ€ste teilgenommen. Man genießt das Essen und kommt lĂ€nderĂŒbergreifend ins GesprĂ€ch. Der Pool mit seinen schönen Ausblicken war sowohl fĂŒr uns Eltern und natĂŒrlich v.a. fĂŒr unsere Kinder eine Freude und willkommene Erfrischung. Florenz und viele andere toskanische Attraktionen liegen vor der TĂŒr. Zu unserer Zeit im August war es fĂŒr die AusflĂŒge in die StĂ€dte jedoch durchgehend sehr heiß. ( 35-41 Grad). Ein kleines, warmes Paradies.

Fantastique

Une propriete superbe ou la proprete et l entretien sont absolument irreprochables. La piscine est tres agreable, avec de belles chaises longues et parasols autour. L acces a Florence est aise par tramway. Tina et Franco nous ont recu de maniere tres chaleureuse. Une semaine fantastique en Toscane a un endroit tres beau et confortable.

Ein traumhafter Ort

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber Tina & Franco sind unglaublich nett, haben ein kleines Paradies geschaffen und waren immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Wohnung ist zweckmĂ€ĂŸig und liebevoll mit italienischen Möbeln ausgestattet, es war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. Der Garten mit Pool ist wunderschön und ruhig. Danke, Tina & Franco! Wir wĂŒnschen euch alles Liebe, viel Gesundheit und vielleicht kommen wir bald mal wieder. Macht weiter so!

Urlaub in Toskana

Eine wunderschöne ruhige Wohnung, in einer hĂŒbschen Gegend mit tollem Blick ĂŒber die toskanische Landschaft. Florenz ist schnell mit der Straßenbahn zu erreichen, streßfrei und ohne ParkgebĂŒhren! Es gibt ein nettes Restaurant in der NĂ€he. Die Gastgeber Tino und Franco sind sehr freundlich und super sypmathisch. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und ich wĂŒrde sofort wieder buchen!

TrÚs bon séjour, propreté irréprochable. Tina parle trÚs bien français c'est assez agréable. La piscine est également super aprÚs une journée de visite et de marche Par contre si l'environnement est particuliÚrement calme et paisible, l'isolation acoustique entre les appartement est inexistante. Dommage.

Great place to be

Schöner Ort zum Abschalten und entspannen. Trotzdem super angebunden und man ist in 30 Minuten mitten in Florenz. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nahegelegenen Ort und ein super Restaurant in FussnÀhe.
