Perfect location, charming place. Very good decision!

We walked from the train station with our luggage. Very easy. The neighborhood has many restaurants and coffee bars. Bus stop is just a few blocks away. 10 min walk to rental car company where it only took about 10 minutes to rent a car for a drive to Chianti on our own. Alessandra met us at the place right at the appointed time and was very helpful in planning our 3 day stay. She was easy to contact and very accommodating. We absolutely loved the place and would definitely stay again!

Disappointing but adequate

This apartment was decent but with a few disappointments. It was in a great location, an easy walk from the train station and easily walkable to the main sights. It was dimly lit and noisy from street traffic (except for master bedroom which was in the back) However, the sound from the nearby church bells was an added charm. Kitchen was well-outfitted, but lacking in bowls for our cereal in the morning.

Great stay at a beautifully appartement

We loved our stay for a week in this beautiful old home. It was really clean and the host Alessandra had great tips for nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood was really nice by the way, lots of nice places to eat and drink but without the tourist masses. I’d stay there again.

Fantastique

Ce grand appartement nous a accueilli pendant une semaine à 5 avec beaucoup de confort. Aller et retour de l'aéroport via la navette qui vous amène à 10-15 minutes de l'appartement. Les visites du centre de Florence sont à 10-30 minutes à pied (notre plus petite a 9 ans). Le quartier est vivant et très agréable. Alessandra réponds aux questions avec précision et une grande amabilité. Son accueil a été des plus sympathiques. Nous recommandons chaudement ce logement.

Un appartement idéal dans l'Oltrarno

Merci Alessandra pour votre accueil. L'appartement (identique aux photos) est chaleureux, cosy, très propre, avec du charme. Il était parfait pour notre famille (2 adultes et 2 jeunes adultes). 1 grande Salle de bain et 2 WC. La Wifi fonctionne très bien. La cuisine bien équipée pour préparer les repas, produits de première nécessité disponibles. Nous y avons passé 5 jours et avons beaucoup aimé la situation très agréable, au calme et à 10 mn à pied du Ponte Vecchio et de tous les monuments. Le quartier est vraiment très sympathique avec des petits bars, restos, épiceries. avec l'appli Parclick, nous avons laissé la voiture au "parking central" Via Benozzo Gozzoli, 16R, à 10 mn à pied de l'appartement pour 84€ les 5 jours. Location idéale pour 4

Excellent location!! Very helpful manager!

This apartment is so charming and despite another reviewer's complaint that the church bells across the street rang out this just added to the charm. The bells rang once a day in the afternoon, never early in the morning. Furnishings are nice and it is well equipped with dishes etc. It is an easy walk to all of the sights and there are lots of shops and restaurants very near to the apartment. I loved that we could find restaurants and coffee shops nearby that were frequented by the locals and we were not always surrounded by hoards of tourists. Alesandra was really responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. It was a perfect spot at a great price.

Lovely little apartment in an outstanding location

We stayed in this apartment for a month while we studied in Florence, and were very happy with the place! Excellent location right near the Arno, with nice bars, restaurants and a cafe we could study at on the same street. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment had all the necessities we could need including fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. There was also a small supermarket around the corner! It did get quite warm in the living room and front bedroom- but a fan was provided and it made all the difference!

San Frediano

John and I spent a month in Alberto's the lovely Oltrarno apartment. It was a pleasing and comfortable space. We cooked a bit and enjoyed many places to eat and shop in the neighborhood. Late March and April are a nice time to be in Florence. We spent a lot of time in Piazza Santo Spirito where we have rented before. It was nice to get to know a new (for us) neighborhood. Our agent, Elanora, was very helpful and suggested Sabatino's where we ate three times!

Awesome Flat near all tourist attractions

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this flat!!! Awesome location!! Puente Vecchio 5 minutes. The flat was spacious Eleanora was fabulous she pointed us out to all the locations that had the best deals for eating !! I will come back again!!!

Gut ausgestattet und stilvoll in guter Lage

Gut ausgestattete, in leicht antikem Stil gehaltene Ferienwohnung in guter, fußläufiger Ausgangslage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Florenz. Sehr netter und professioneller (später) Check-in um 23:15h (für 30€ zusätzlich) durch Eleonora, die auch gute Tipps zu günstigen Restaurants und Eisdielen in der Nähe, den Usancen beim Autoparken und anderen Unternehmungen gibt. Gute Email-Korrespondenz mit Vermieter, der alle Fragen rasche beantwortet. Die Wohnung ist nicht vollständig ebenerdig, es gibt Stufen (was für uns aber kein Problem war). Größere Menschen müssen aufpassen, sich an dem historischen Balken in der Küche nicht den Kopf zu stoßen. Während unseres Aufenthalts Mitte August war es sehr warm; die Klimaanlagen hatten etwas Mühe, die Räume angemessen zu kühlen. Zugang zur Wohnung mit Auto eingeschränkt (nur zwischen 20 und 23 Uhr), Parken nicht möglich, dazu muss man etwas ausweichen. Wir haben aber an einer 600m entfernten Straße einen Parkplatz am Arno-Fluss gefunden, ohne Parkticket zu lösen, und sind damit durchgekommen (viele freie Parkplätze im August). Straße mäßig laut. Ansonsten alles bestens, die Straßen und Plätze in der Umgebung sind sehenswert, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten auch sonntags vorhanden, Eisdiele am Arno-Fluss preiswert und super lecker!

Charming place, good location

We really liked the location of this property, we could walk to all the sites. The apt was relatively spacious, given the age of the building and clean. There were a few things that were a little annoying: the dining table was too small. We actually ate a lot of meals in, especially breakfast and it was crowded for four ppl. The beds were not that comfortable. We have traveled a lot, and are all in pretty good shape, so have no issues with firm beds, but members of our party had some back and hip pain. There were no dish towels and no spatula. (We bought one) The wi-fi was very slow, especially in comparison to other places we stayed in Italy and Europe. I realize that most ppl come into Florence by plane or train, but communication about parking garages outside of the ZTL would have been appreciated, since there is only so much information you can get from the internet. Eleanora was responsive and we appreciated her restaurant and grocery recommendations, help with returning our rental, and providing us with a dish towel. FYI...due to older wiring in the building we could not run the AC and the washing machine at the same time which was a little bit of an issue for us since we were there in July. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved Florence.

A perfect location for exploring Florence

We were here with 2 adult and three children, and the location was perfect. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, quiet, and exactly right for us since we wanted a "typical" experience. Alberto was easy to work with and very responsive. There's an excellent fruit and veggie shop just a few doors away. Lots of great restaurants in the area, a grocery store a few blocks away, and a fun park with playgrounds right by the grocery store. We loved being here. We'd gladly stay here again. There are 40 stairs to get to the door of the apartment, which seemed short to us, but keep it in mind if mobility is an issue.

Fantastica location! :-)

Abbiamo soggiornato in cinque persone nel ponte del primo maggio. Al nostro arrivo siamo state accolte da una gentilissima signora che oltre ad averci mostrato l'appartamento (molto carino e caratteristico), ci ha dato anche dei suggerimenti sui posti da visitare. L'appartamento è centralissimo, in una zona ricca di locali, ciò nonostante molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Al''interno sono presenti tutti gli accessori (asciugamani, detersivi, carta igienica, saponi, pentole). Unico difetto (ma facilmente risolvibile) è il phone troppo piccolo e vecchio. Nel complesso è stata una piacevolissima vacanza ;-)

SPLENDIDO SOGGIORNO

Abbiamo trascorso pochi giorni a Firenze nel periodo post natalizio ma siamo stati fortunati perché abbiamo trovato delle splendide giornate di sole e abbiamo soggiornato in una stupenda location. L’appartamento si trova a San Frediano, nell’Oltrarno a poche centinaia di metri dal Centro Storico di Firenze. Il quartiere offre tutte le comodità necessarie e presenta le caratteristiche tipiche di una città storica come Firenze; negozi artigianali, ristoranti tipici ecc. I Musei, i palazzi e le opere che hanno reso Firenze famosa in tutto il mondo sono veramente a pochi minuti di distanza. L’appartamento è arredato con gusto ed è molto luminoso. Ci sono spazi adeguati per una famiglia come la nostra. Alberto si è dimostrato disponibilissimo. E’ certo, la prossima volta che torneremo a Firenze (speriamo per un tempo maggiore) questa sarà la nostra prima scelta. Francesco – famiglia con figli adolescenti.

Appartement très chaleureux, excellent accueil.

Emplacement idéal a deux pas du ponte vecchio et de la capella brancacci. Nous avons passe un tres bon sejour a Florence, dans ce quartier tres sympathique a l'abri du tumulte touristique. L'appartement dans cet ancien immeuble est calme et fonctionnel, chaleureusement amenage, avec gout. Merci a alberto et Eleonora pour leur accueil et leurs conseils de visite, et leurs suggestions gastronomiques...

Location agréable très bien située.

Très bel appartement, spacieux, bien agencé. Tout est conforme au descriptif. L'appartement est bien décoré, rien n'y manque et tout fonctionne.Attention, la rue est bruyante donc la chambre à deux lits est à réserver aux ados au sommeil de plomb.La chambre parentale est grande et on y dort vraiment très bien.C'était très propre, l'accueil a été agréable et chaleureux. Juste en bas, des petits commerces ouverts tout le temps, un petit supermarché a ouvert ds une rue derrière la place des Carmine en direction de San Spirito. Délicieuse pizzeria minuscule et bon marché à trois portes en allant place del Carmine , on vous la recommande, bon traiteur aussi, à trois portes vers la porte San Frediano. Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cette location et possibilité de goûter du vin toscan(on vous recommande le "classico".).Bref, n'hésitez pas, on est au ponte Vecchio en 5mn.

Appartement bien situé

Nous étions cinq personnes retraitées à occuper l'appartement pendant quatre jours. Cet appartement est bien situé par rapport au centre historique de Florence, il est propre et bien agencé, et la literie est bonne. Par contre, c'était limite au point de vue équipement : cafetière trop petite - un seul torchon - pas suffisamment de papier WC . L'appartement conviendrait parfaitement pour un couple avec enfants mais pas pour cinq adultes "troisième age" comme nous car escalier raide et très étroit pour monter à la mezzanine, et embuches (petites marches) tout au long du couloir pour accéder aux chambres et salle de bain.

TOTALMENTE RECOMENDABLE

El apartamento está fenomenal, incluso es más bonito de lo que aparece en las fotos. Está perfectamento equipado (todo lo que se puede necesitar). El único inconveniente que encontramos, por poner alguna pega, es que la habitación que da a la calle, resulta un poco ruidosa; la otra habitación no tiene ruidos. La localización es perfecta, en el centro histórico, nada más cruzar el río. Está muy cerca de todo (menos de 15 minutos andando a la estación, 5 minutos al Ponte Vechio) y con la ventaja de estar en un barrio no exclusivamente turístico. Incluso hay una parada de autobús en la puerta, con un autobús directo a la estación. La zona tiene montones de restaurantes y locales, incluso en la misma calle y en los alrededores.Todos ellos frecuentados por gente local e incluso en alguno de ellos éramos los únicos turistas. El servicio por parte de los propietarios ha sido perfecto. Recomendamos sin dudarlo este alojamiento.
