Välkommen till vår gömställe här i Lennox Head. Du är en kort promenad från Lennox Head Village och stranden men tillräckligt långt borta för att njuta av lugnet, lugnet och grönområdet som vår gömställe ger.

Lennox Hideaway är en privat, helt fristående, två sovrumslägenhet belägen inom 15 minuters promenad från Lennox Village, stränder, kaféer, barer och restauranger. Det är bara 1 kilometer från Lennox Point Surfing Reserve och 10 minuters bilresa från Ballina / Byron Airport. Lennox Hideaway ligger cirka 1 timmes bilresa från Coolangatta International Airport.

Lägenheten är helt fristående och erbjuder två sovrum, vardera med queen-size-sängar, ett vardagsrum, pentry, badrum med både dusch och badkar, separat toalett, tvättstuga och privat utomhusdäck med grill och biljardbord. Medan lägenheten är kopplad till huvudbostaden är den helt privat och det finns inga delade områden.

Pentryet har ett kylskåp, brödrost, vattenkokare, mikrovågsugn, två bärbara kokplattor och allt nödvändigt porslin och bestick för enkel matlagning och matsal. I Lennox Village hittar du många kaféer och restauranger för din matglädje.

Ballina är en 10 minuters bilresa söder om Lennox Village och Byron Bay är en 15 minuters bilresa norrut. Bussar kör från byn till båda dessa destinationer.

Lennox Hideaway är en modern och extremt bekväm fristående lägenhet som passar för par, solo- och affärsresenärer.

Lovely property. We would have loved to have stayed longer but we were in transit. The only issue for a short stay was the stairs and dragging our luggage up for one night. This was my problem, I should have done my homework.

Festival goers

Clean, nicely decorated, airy, lots of natural light, quiet location, great get away apartment. We stayed here while attending Bluesfest and was perfect to come back at the end of the night. Communication with host Karen was easy and always lovely.

Great place to unwind

Very pleasant environment, everything just as listed. Great hosts, hardly knew they were there but available to help whenever needed. Loved riding the bikes along the beach.

Great quiet place away from main street

A beautifully converted area above the garage is a lovely walk from town. Very dark at night so we did rely on Uber and lifts from others. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet!

Aside from the “welcome” it was ok. We travel for work as builders and we stay in all kinds of places, so when we turned up here in a work truck, we weren’t expecting the owner to come barrelling down the driveway accusing us of running over his bushes. This didn’t happen, it had been raining quite steadily and we drove down the narrow driveway (having never been to this location or property so unbeknown to us that the driveway was narrow). We drive over a small patch of grass in the wet and created some tyres makes. Instead of offering to park his car in the park bay that we could obviously not fit, he parked his small vehicle on the large driveway and demanded we park down the street, about 100m away from the entry of the house. We actually asked to cancel due to his aggressive behaviour however could not find any other accommodation at the time. This really destroyed any positive notes of the property as we couldn’t relax or sleep properly not knowing how he was going to behave. He insisted of giving us a tour of the unit and was very rude and condescending showing us around, like we wouldn’t have been able to find the kitchen without him. I was so uncomfortable I just wanted him to leave. Maybe he didn’t like us being builders, but most places we’ve been are really great and accommodating. Not like this The property had a nice bathroom with a great bath tub. Two bedroom, with a good TV and outdoor area with a pool table. It was clean and comfortable. BEWARE OF OWNER.

Private and peaceful unit

We enjoyed a few days in this self-contained unit in Lennox Head. It was not easy to find in the dark on arrival but the owners talked us through the approach. More lighting at the house would assist due to the complete lack of street lighting. The flat was well equipped and comfortable and we had access to the back garden. Lots of bird life around and we could use the bicycles in the car port to cycle into Lennox Head. The light was very bright in the early morning so some block-out blinds in the bedrooms would help. Overall a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.

Lennox Head Jewel

If Lennox Head is far from the maddening crowd, then Karen and Steve's VRBO is two steps past that. This spacious 2 bedroom is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood that is within a 10 minute walk of beaches, shopping and restaurants. The unit was in impeccable condition and in many ways has the feel of an upscale hotel. A minor inconvenience was the small bar sized fridge and hotplate for indoor cooking BUT the close proximity of an IGA Food Store compensated for this. The outdoor area had abundant seating and offered a quiet place to relax. So . . . enough about the dirt, bricks and mortar descriptions, the real treasure about this VRBO is the owners. Karen and Steve could not have been more accommodating, friendly and genuine. They were model hosts, nothing more needs to be said. We took the advice of friends and had car rental during our one week stay. This allowed us to explore the surrounding areas and a trip to Byron Bay proved to be a good idea. Our most enjoyable experience was the hike from Lennox Head to Ballina. The landscape at times is breathtaking. If you decide to try this make sure to do a little research first as the walk will take around 3 hours and cover over 13 kilometres.
