Nice place in a sleepy little village

It's nice to get away and relax. The owner lives nearby and is ready to help if needed. The kitchen is well equipped, which is important to us.

Was a wonderful stay. A beautiful friendly neighborhood. The ocean and sunsets were amazing. We will definitely come back to stay here. Has everything you would need. The host Lindsey was so welcoming.

Perfect little cabin in a quite part of Florida

The sunsets at the end of the road were amazing, the fact the owner provided bikes for us to use while we were there was a pleasant surprise. Great trail system close by. I highly recommend staying here and relaxing and going the short distance to tarpon springs. Really neat place. Would book with them again

Perfectly Located

This property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The furnishings in the house were very cute and useful. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room to store our clothes and necessities. The owner was very nice and personable. They had provided us with some complimentary Prosecco it was a sweet gift for us. We were very pleased and would book this property again.

Charming Crystal Beach

Although our 21-day stay encompassed two major hurricanes, and we actually were evacuated for the final six days due to hurricane Milton, the time we did spend at the Crystal Beach Cottage was just wonderful. Our host, Mr, Lindsay, lived just several doors away and we had several wonderful interactions. Mr. Lindsay shared local history of this fascinating old Florida hamlet. The cottage itself was perfect for the two of us and our small dog Marley, with everything we needed for such a stay as this. Clean and tidy, the cottage even has a washer/dryer that we found really useful for us. Crystal Beach was heavily damaged by hurricane Helene, and our hearts go out to so many of the long-term residents of this intercoastal paradise who lost much if not all during the storm surge.

The cottage is in a perfect small quite community with one of the best views for the sunset right down the street at live oak park, or anywhere along the crystal beach area. Got a chance to meet the owner. Very nice and accommodating gentleman with good advice. I suggest making the close trip to tarpon springs for a great Greek experience. Very interesting with all sorts of tourist shops and great food. Great bike path nearby and the owner was kind enough to provide bikes, beach chairs, and about anything else you might need. Would certainly stay here again

Always our favorite

We absolutely LOVE staying here! Crystal Beach is our go-to place to stay, and three out of four visits we’ve stayed with the same host, and after the last stay (same neighborhood, different host), we will always stay here and with this host. This particular cottage has the most comfortable bed. It is quaint and well stocked, especially for those who enjoy cooking. It’s just a block from the park and the sunset meet up at the end of the street with the lovely community it’s so fun to be a part of. Close proximity to Honeymoon Island, Publix, Canes coffee shop, and for lovely walking through the neighborhood or on the Pinellas trail. The community is quiet and friendly for those who wish to stay away from noisy, over populated areas but wouldn’t mind the chance to go see some of the beautiful beaches close by. Can’t say enough about this area and its people!

Peaceful getaway

This is a great little cottage to relax and get away from the crowds in near by Clearwater. The community beaches are fairly small but there is not many people so it is no problem finding a place sit. The house is up to date and was very clean other than the kitchen counters were a little dirty. Also you don’t want to let anything with sugar sit out for very long, the sugar ants will find their way to it. Other than those two things everything was perfect and even these were not serious issues. We are very happy with our stay and will stay here again.

Very bad experience!

Accessed this cute cottage, unpacked, went out for a quick dinner and then back in time to see a beautiful sunset down the street. Returned to a nightmare unfolding. We left a couple of lamps on so we didn’t return to a dark house. Well, any lit light was covered with live, wormy- looking bugs with lots of wings covering the bedroom nightstand, floors, the living room sofa lamp and droppings on the dishes and kitchen counter. It was late so we had a very restless night’s sleep but waited to text the host and alternate contact first thing in the morning to report the swarm of dry wood termites (looked it up on line). No response. Waited until 2:30pm and called host, left a message and then tried alternate. She must have recd my text as she knew what it was about, but said we had to communicate with the host directly. We gathered our belongings and moved to a hotel. Bottom line, finally when reaching the host, he said to take it up with VRBO and hung up on us. This listing is managed by a property manager who VRBO connected us to. They were very helpful in settling this unpleasant experience and our sincere thanks to them. Need I say more?????

PERFECT neighborhood and perfect size!

I am so in love with this property and neighborhood! I can’t wait to bring my family back! It was the perfect size place and the neighborhood was so friendly, beautiful, and quiet! We walked the streets every evening to see the lovely landscapes and enjoy the tiny little beaches and pier. It felt like a piece of home, away from all the crazy packed beaches, loud music, and noise. It was still close enough to attractions and just a drive enough to adventurous things and tourist attractions. We didn’t need to communicate with the management because it was clean and stocked with just enough supplies to get us through the week and all the kitchen essentials. I couldn’t be happier about our choice! Thank you so much!
