We were traveling with our two dogs to visit family in this area. I truly could not have imagined a better location. We were so close to everything and still felt like it was private. The host was incredibly friendly and stayed in touch to make sure we had what we needed. The backyard was nice to walk the dogs. Also super close to the Pinellas Trail, we hope to check that out next time. Definitely recommend the ice cream shop with the cows, right in walking distance! We felt like we had everything we needed for this trip and we were really happy with this stay!

Perfect Location

We had a great stay. Very close to everything we needed. The unit was exceptionally clean and everything worked. Would stay here again.

Family vacation

We were here to meet up with family for a quick vacation. The Salty Pelican was a great for us as it accommodated all our needs. Would be happy to stay here again!

Interior is even better than the pictures!

Loved the property! The owner was incredibly nice, the process was seamless, and the interior was so well styled. They just did a great job with the place, and I would stay there again :)

Lovely time

We loved the location of this. Right off the pinellas trail so you can walk/run this every morning or evening. Not far from downtown Dunedin, palm harbor and tarpon springs. Location is everything!

I paid for this "home rental" in full approximately 6-7 months prior to the actual check in date of 9/16 for 6 nights. I had to reach out to the owner mid-morning during a lay over flight to FL to get information for my check in that day. The owner texted me that she would be able to "move me to another unit" so she didnt have to cancel my reservation. Imagine my surprise with this situation and the term "unit" when this is being advertised as a villa/entire home. This is in fact a 4 unit apartment, not an entire home. She moved me from the larger king bed, etc unit to accomadate what I can only assume was the BMW person who was handed mine. There was no yard, no grill, no W/D in the home and there was no entire home. Huge dishonest, misrepresentation of the property. I didnt cancel only because of the cost I would have incurred trying to book elsewhere last minute. I will say this; everything in the "unit" was very clean, tastefully decorated and modern. You need to be honest with any future potential tenants and let them decide based on the facts. This is not a private home and you will have neighbors right next door.
