El Mirador 8 - Absolute Beachfront Tugun

El Mirador 8 is a spacious and comfortable apartment located on the absolute beachfront at Tugun. Enjoy swimming in the pool or step out onto the golden sands of Tugun Beach.

The apartment is on the 1st floor (walk up) and has windows running the length of the beachfront side, offering stunning panoramic views from the open plan kitchen, dining and loungeroom.

The loungeroom also offers smart TV (no free to air channels - Wi-Fi connectivity available) , comfortable furnishings and access to the side balcony. There is also a second sitting area, which is the perfect spot to curl up with a book or enjoy the stunning sunrises and sunsets on offer.

The dining room is the perfect place to bring the family together and enjoy a meal overlooking the stunning blue Pacific Ocean.

El Mirador features a well-equipped farmhouse style kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain on holidays, including a dishwasher.

El Mirador features 4 bedrooms, master with queen bed and ensuite with shower and toilet. There is a second queen bedroom and 2 bedrooms with 1 single bed each.

One queen bedroom and one single bedroom have direct access to the side balcony offering ocean views and glimpses. There is a second alfresco dining area located on the side balcony.

There are 2 additional bathrooms, both with a shower and toilet (note- bath is non-operational, taps have been disabled) and there is a large laundry with washing machine for your convenience (no dryer).

El Mirador 8 is located on the first floor of a quiet and secure building and offers 1 secure car space for guests.

Keys
Keys are to be collected from and returned to our office, 76 Griffith Street Coolangatta. Our office is an approximate 9 minute drive south of the property and 6 minute drive south of the GC Airport.

Linen
Linen is not provided at this property. Holiday properties are equipped with blankets/ doonas and pillows and protectors, however please remember to bring your own personal linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. Linen can be hired at a reasonable cost; we will provide details once your booking is confirmed. We also suggest you bring with you soaps, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper etc.

Great location, property tired but in a good area. Great for a family of 6 as had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, large living area

Old and under a flight path

The accommodation backed on to the bike path and Tugun beach which was lovely, however please be aware that Tugun is pretty much the flight path for all flights departing and arriving at Coolangatta airport which means flights from 6am-10.30pm. And loud enough to wake up the elderly and kids. The place is quite old and there were no hooks to hang towels and no curtain on the main window which meant the beautiful sunrise came through very bright from 6am. The place has a nice large lounge and dining area. One of the single rooms at the back has no curtains on the window or the door so if the outside stairwell light comes on it shines straight through. FYI all linen, towels, tea towels, pillow cases and bath mats need to be supplied which I didn’t see in the fine print but luckily was reminded by the booking agent a few days prior to staying. This meant a whole checked bag of 20kgs was used just for this as 4 adults and 2 children were staying. The location was great other than the flight path, however for the cost the place is in dire need of a makeover

What a location! What a view! We loved our stay at El Miradore 8! With the beach at your doorstep, what more could you ask for? Plenty of space, with 3 bathrooms! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Gillade: Incheckning, kommunikation och plats

Great property for family use, including two small children. Location very good.

Negatives were; - no floor mop and floor was very dirty (although vacuumed had not been washed). We bought one and washed the floor - could do with more mugs and larger bowls - several electrical sockets/circuits don't work - frustrating - needed a hairdryer - use of bath for children not possible as taps had been removed/sealed off. Annoying as baby and young children generally don't like showers. - one of the bathrooms was missing a towel rail. Clearly a repair had not been attended to. Other than that the property suited the needs for 5 adults and two small children and we enjoyed our stay.
