Gorgeous in any season. Enjoy the winter sports offered in the area, or simply cosy up by the fire and observe the many birds that call this place home or come through as part of their annual migration. Go for a springtime drive to take in the unfolding beauty of the Ottawa Valley with its many charming towns and breathtaking landscapes. Live it up in the summer and enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing in deep, pristine Calabogie Lake, or simply relax and enjoy the sunshine and many mature trees on the property. Immerse yourself in Autumn colours and textures and curl up with a good book or movie at the end of an invigorating day. There is always something to do! Or - if it’s more your speed - you can do nothing at all and simply enjoy the surroundings.
Beautifully maintained with a full kitchen, large communal areas and very comfortable bedrooms. In addition to the beds, there is a single cot available if needed.

Weekend getaway

We spent 3 nights at this Calabogie cottage. It was ideal for our plan to simply relax while our children and grandchild hiked around the property.It was a l little cool but the gas fireplace warmed us up..

Amazing winter getaway

We spent the family day weekend at the cottage with some friends from out of town, and had a wonderful time. Communication was quick and clear, and greatly appreciated. The cottage is cozy and spacious. A great place to enjoy back to back blizzards.

Calabogie ski retreat

We wish we could have stayed longer and it was the perfect accommodations for our 7 person family with 4 separate bedrooms and everyone having their own privacy. The renovation kitchen and bathrooms were great and we enjoyed the abundant space for together time. It would also be an amazing location in the summer months.

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay as a family of 6 very much. The weather for this time of year was unusually mild and wet, so we could not enjoy the typical outdoor winter activities, but the cottage/ home was very clean, welcoming and spacious. The hosts are very friendly and respond to messages in a very timely manner.

Spacious cottage

The cottage was lovely and spacious, with plenty of extra linens and a portable cot. Our group of 8 had plenty of space.It had a beautiful view of the lake and was a suitable distance from the ski hill (about a 10 minute drive).The living room with fireplace, and adjoining sitting room, were a fantastic places to sit and relax.The kitchen was enormous and well stocked. Unfortunately the hot tub, which had been a desired amenity after a day of skiing, did not work.

Race weekend

We had a fantastic weekend at this property. Plenty of space inside and out for a large group. Direct access to the lake was a bonus. Proximity to Calabogie Motorsports Park was fantastic, such a great place to come back to after a day of racing.

Calabogie vacation

My wife and I had a fantastic week at the residence. The house was fantastic. It is a beautiful setting on a beautiful lake, very private. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. Calabogie it self is a great small town with very good restaurants. The lake was fantastic. Swimming was great, Fishing was great. We could not rate this rental any lower than absolutely superb.

Family Ski Getaway

Amazing views in a spacious, bright space. We really enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was there and easy to find - close to ski hill and hiking spots! Would highly recommend!!

Cottage Getaway

We loved the location. Very peaceful & the sunset view was breathtaking. Sarah our host was very friendly in responding to all my queries, highly recommend to visit this again. Hot tub made our stay extra special so relaxing.

Beautiful Property

The property and house are beautiful and very conveniently located. Sarah was a great host and very communicative. It was well-stocked with kitchen essentials, cookware etc. Some small things could be improved to make it a 10/10 experience: two burners on the stove not functioning properly; BBQ had to be well-cleaned by us before use; cushions were left out in rain so we had to dry them for a day or so before we could use; more chairs for the dock area would be nice. Overall it was a great stay and one of the nicer cottage properties we have rented.

This cottage felt like a resort! From cooking food in that beautiful kitchen, to watching a perfect sunset from the hot tub, this cottage was everything we needed to recharge and reconnect. Thank you for everything!

Great cottage and property

The property was very well kept and spacious. Very secluded from neighbors. Access to the water was great. The cottage is more like home and can entertain a number of people easily. Walking distance to the golf course is a huge plus. We would definitely stay again.

Nice roomy cottage

There were five of us - me, my husband, and three members of his race team for a weekend at Calabogie Motorsports Park. It was a very short drive to the race track. The cottage was very well equipped with lots of room to gather together. We would love to come again.

Amazing Winter Getaway!

Our family completely enjoyed a winter getaway at the cottage! Beautiful area. We loved the views of the lake. The ski hill is a short drive away. The large fully stocked kitchen allowed a large family group to all be together to prepare and share meals. The open concept made it ideal to gather and cheer on our sports teams with the big screen TV and snuggling up by the fireplace. A perfect vacation.

Birthday & Friends giving

We all had a great time, sitting around and biking on the trails. Neighbors were very friendly and showed us areas to ride. Kitchen was great meeting spot and easy to cook big Thanksgiving dinner in. Lots of space to spread out and get together places. Will definitely be back! Sarah was great to deal with and good source of information on the area.

Wonderful New Years Mini Getaway

Our family spent 3 days in Calbogie to ring in the New Year. The location was perfect as we skied one day and hiked Eagles Nest the next. The hot tub and lake view was the perfect end to both outings. The large lawn gave the kids lots of space to throw a football. The kitchen was a perfect space to cook meals, play games and hang out together. 8 of us slept comfortably and the gas fireplace helped provide warmth and cozy comfort. Sarah was very helpful in answering any questions and offering activities for the kids to enjoy!

Calabogie in the Fall

The property was great and the waterfront was really nice. Although it had a slight tilt, we really enjoyed the hot tub. We were hoping to get some fishing in, but there were no bites; it was really windy the whole stay. The only issue we had was being a little cold the first night but then we figured out how to set the thermostat before bed.

Christmas get away

I will start by saying that Sarah was lovely throughout all of our communication.It started when we arrived on December 25 and the temperature at the home was 63 degrees F. I did notice an error message and immediately contacted Sarah. She did send someone over right away but as it turned out the furnace was broken and couldn’t be fixed until Friday. ( a repairman came out around 7 on the 25th.He did leave a couple of space heater’s and Sarah did offer on the 26th to bring more but we declined and decided to make the best of the situation). On top of the heating situation we did not a leak from the roof near the smallest bedroom. I did let Sarah know, but nothing was addressed re: the leak. Last but not least, we were prepared for sulphur in the water but the sulphur smell was so strong that after my daughter took a shower, we all decided not to use the shower. I’m not sure if the sulphur smell is always this strong or if there was an issue with the well.It was quite the stay we were imagining but despite some setbacks we enjoyed our time as a family.

Magnificent location. Nice big cottage.

Easy to get to. A lot of amenities at the cottage. General store, gas and LCBO are 10 mins away by car. Spacious cottage with plenty of room for 7 of us. Great western facing lakeside property with tons of room for dogs to run. Golf course within easy walking distance. Rooms were reasonable in size (master was quite large) and beds were comfortable. Main bathroom is a little small. Toilet requires a bit of yoga. Master bathroom is well appointed and good size. A group of more than 4 would most likely have to share the bathrooms, as we did.
