Mars Hill cottage rentals

We had a great time staying at the cottage. It is within walking distance to downtown Weaverville with good restaurants (Glass Onion), coffee shops, and breweries. Communication with the owner was great. The landscaping around the cottage is amazing. We sat out on the back porch, relaxing with a glass of wine, and it was delightful. It was easy in and out to visit Asheville and hiking. We would definitely return.

Such a lovely, relaxing stay! Front porch, flowers, pet treats and comfort. Super easy check in and prompt, conscientious communication. My wife and I and three older sisters felt right at home, as did our two small pooches. A short, easy walk to town made this place a convenient gem!

warmly welcomed by host, Camille, and friendly felines... beauty surrounds from the moment you arrive with lovely gardens, roaming chickens and a pathway to the cottage which is super cozy and thoughtfully designed with an artist's sense of color, texture, light, and space...loved sleeping up in the loft. my sister and i had a great time. quiet neighborhood which seemed to be located within 15 min (by foot or car) of everywhere we decided to go (think good food, thrift stores (one with rescued animals onsite), downtown, metaphysical/crystal shops). hope to return to perhaps enjoy the fire pit area and out door bath some day... just lovely, a magical mermaid refuge...

Perfect size and amenities for us and our two pups while we helped with the annual Holly Jolly event and holiday parade. Everything is set up well at the house, everything we needed. Host was generous and communicative. We will be back!

I almost don't want to tell you how great this place is because I don't want to find it booked up for when we next come to AVL!! ;-) Spacious, clean, great location, pet friendly- and just as adorable in person as the pictures suggest....thank you for a great stay! We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful hideaway on meticulous grounds. The host thought of everything that visitors to the area would need. Tons of info on Black Mt with maps to view waterfalls, hiking, horseback riding, etc. Pam even provided a backpack and walking sticks. The kitchen was fully stocked if you plan on cooking (pots, utensils, plastic bags for food storage, coffee, tea, etc). The outdoor fireplace was prepped for a fire. All we had to do was light a match. The rocking chairs and hammock near the pond added to the ambiance. You felt totally secluded but town was a quick walk (3 mins of that). The town was very walkable; we didn't need to use the car at all. Such a beautiful area to explore. We will definitely be back.

This off the beaten path house was a great little getaway for my wife and I. Check in was easy and it was just as nice in person.
