Loch Sloy. There was a loch here before the dam was built in the late 1940's in the first of the great post war hydro-electric projects. The loch is much bigger now and you can see the draw down mark around its shores, a dry summer soon depletes the stocks as water is fed to the turbines down at Inveruglas.
