  • Perfect for Retreat

"16 ladies stayed at the chalet this May 2016 and were quite pleased with the location and the overall set up of the chalet . It presented as a unique ski style chalet with the charm of a wood cabin . Very accommodating hosts ! Thanks !"

  • just like home

"We loved this little A frame chalet. Our home is an A frame so it felt so homey. Owners were easy to communicate with. Location is out of Whistler village a bit, but we've done that often enuf and the Alpine Meadows neighbourhood was lovely and quiet."

  • Wonderful

"Our family (we have two kids), plus two grandparents, spent some time in Steve's cabin this January (2015), and had a truly wonderful time during our stay. Our kids are very young, and they had so much fun exploring the cabin. We found the place easy (directions were clear), and it was well prepared for our visit: everything was very clean and tidy. The cabin is very inviting, cozy, and quite spacious - there was plenty of room for sleep (3 bedrooms) and hang out (downstairs and upstairs). The kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked most of our meals. Linen and towels were plentiful and clean. We were lucky to be there during a heavy snowfall, we all loved watching it, and going out with kids to play. The wood stove served us well to warm up after we came back inside. One thing we didn't have time to enjoy was the sauna. The cabin is a short drive to Whistler, we went there a couple of times during our stay, for lunch and to walk around. We didn't go skiing/snowboarding, but, the cabin is a good base for winter activities in Whistler. The cabin is located close to a railroad, but, the trains go by very infrequently (twice a day or so), and they were not annoying (on the contrary, kids liked watching them go by). Our correspondence with Steve was very clear and easy (e-mail, phone). Thanks Steve, we hope to come back and visit your cabin again! Davor and family"

  • Great place

"Rented Jim's chalet for a weekend getaway and we had a great time. If you don't drive there is a bus that takes you into the village. The hot tub is amazing after a busy day. Lots of towels. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Bring your own tupperware and blender. Lots of board games and movies. Would definitely stay here again."
