  • Excellent

"The villa was spacious and well equipped. Plenty of kitchen tools to produce nice meals for at least 6 people. We used the grill more than once, enjoying meals on the patio looking at the gorgeous water of the Bahamas. The beach front property is great and the pool felt like our own even though it is a community pool. The beds were all comfortable, and plenty of linens. Sasha was always available for any questions or problems. A short walk to the new February Point pool and excellent restaurant- The Rusty Anchor. A comfortable walk to Georgetown and shopping. Marvin was an excellent boat captain from the February Point Marina who took us for an afternoon of snorkeling and lunch on Stocking Island. And Rev Brown of Taxi 5 was a wealth of information when he took us on an island tour. We would love to return to the villas at February Point."

  • Peaceful Paradise

"Holiday Affair is truly a slice of Paradise! This was our second time staying in this beautiful home and we can't wait to go back! The pictures are for real...the colors of the water and sky are that amazing and the quality of the home and furnishings are that nice. The location is ideal as we were 10 minutes to the airport or Georgetown and within 5 minutes of a small deli/grocery. The beach is soft, white sand, walkable especially at low tide in both directions, and very quiet. It is one of the few homes with paddle boards, which are very nice and we used daily when it wasn't windy. There were also frisbees, lots of beach towels and mats as well as a variety of sunscreen and bug spray. The grounds are tropical and so pretty and the setting and views are exquisite. You can enjoy the sunset off the covered porch in the front or from the side patio, and the sunrise from the deck or any of the 6 sets of patio doors overlooking the beach and ocean. So many cozy spots to relax. The interior is gorgeous with obvious attention to detail and five star quality accommodations. Plenty of luxury towels and linens and very comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality appliances, cookware, dishes and glassware. We brought a suitcase full of items such as spices, coffee, peanut butter and various non-perishable food items that we aren't able to buy on the island. Also laundry pods, dryer sheets, ziplock baggies, bandaids etc. Food and supplies are expensive as is eating out in the Exumas. Businesses generally charge 5% to use a credit card, so you can save money by using cash. You will need to rent a car. We highly recommend hiring a Captain and boat to fully see the breathtaking Exuma cays, or rent a boat at Minn's and explore Elizabeth Harbor on your own. If you are looking for a quiet, laid-back vacation this is your spot. This is definitely not a spring break type of place with night-life and lots of people. And it is not conducive to anyone with mobility issues as there is a steep, angled, somewhat rocky few steps down to the beach. We viewed it as a little exercise and so worth it. Holiday Affair is ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4. Our daughters, both in their 20's, love this 'chill' island and beautiful home as much as my husband and I do. The owner is consistently prompt and pleasant in communication and response time. Thank you for sharing your Peaceful Paradise with our family again this year!!"

  • when dreams come true.

"My husband a good friend and I have just returned from our trip to Exuma, a beautiful island from the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. We spent eight nights at "On the Beach" Studio at Sandy Palms, just a few meters from the sea. Everything was fantastic ..... Sandy Palm overlooks a beautiful, quiet bay in which live giant tortoises that can gently swim with you. The studio is well equipped with everything you can need. But first of all Peter was fantastic: he received us warmly , for a few mornings he met with us to give all the information that could need to find the best beaches, the best restaurants, and small tips on how to get around an island you do not know. Exuma is an island that must be seen and Peter and Betty are the perfect owners of a place where to stay. We returned in Rome since few days and we already miss the quiet, the beauty of the sea, the white beaches and much more. Thanks to Betty and Peter for making our holiday extra special. Francesca, Franco and Attilio."

  • Don't hesitate to book.

"We had an amazing week at this house. It's very privet. You do have a neighbor on one side but you will likely never see them. It does sometimes feel like you are on your own privet island. Outside: The house has it's own privet beach that you can wade in but the shallow waters aren't the best for swimming. That didn't bother us at all because we had usually spent the whole day in the water some place else. The water was amazing to wake up to and come home to. The water is a combo of bright blues and greens and the color changes throughout the day. If you get in the afternoon you will be delighted around 10-12 when the water changes to it's most vibrant color. It's also on the sunset side of the island so you get to see the sunset every night from the little pavilion. The bleach has nice soft sand but surrounding the beach are some pretty jagged rocks that you will want to climb up on so be sure to have some kind of sneaker or water shoes. There is a grill for cooking outdoors (it was broken when we got there but they came over and made repairs when we made them aware.) There are plenty of places on the beach to safely have a fire and stargaze. The shed is full of coolers, fishing poles and other random things you may find useful on your trip. Inside: The house is clean and spacious. Beds comfortable enough. The house is well equipped and the screened in porch is heavenly. They provide big jugs of filtered water. A few things to note: -There is internet but don't count on it. The internet on the whole island is super spotty. 3G sometimes kicks in at the house but that is spotty as well. This is not the houses fault, it's just how it is on Exuma. - There is a TV but when we were there was no cable or antenna so it's more just decoration. lol They did bring us a dvd player, but not the correct hookups for it. This was okay for us as we were busy and rather be outside most the time anyway. However, if this is important to you, pack a device of your own..maybe a player with a jump drive full of stuff. -There was a hurricane last fall so the hammock is no more for now. - There is a washer but no dryer. You will need to find a spot to hang your clothes outside. It may take a while to dry in humid weather so be sure to wash dry things early in the day so they have all day and night to blow in the breeze. Your clothes will smell live heaven. Things are closed Sundays so if you arrive on Sunday, let them know what you need prior."
