  • Beautiful Sunrises -- Favorite Place to Be 50 !

"We had a girls getaway week at Nancy's beautiful 2B condo to celebrate my 50th B-Day. East End is the best - Sun rises on the beach in the morning and sets behind the condo, making it so pleasant at the beach and pool. (We spent an afternoon at Seven Mile beach -No Shade, direct sun :( , unbearable ). Condo had everything, including beach towels, water floats, bath towels, plenty of room to spread out. Condo is close to Rum Point - lots of chairs, shade, food, (no outside food/drink), hair braiding $30, bars, jet skis, etc. Our favorite was swimming with the dolphins (Dolphin Discovery/Turtle Farm) and stingrays (White Sands with Captain Chris who is amazing! Highly recommend the 7:00 am tour) Staying at the East End gives you the opportunity to see the island and its beauty. Recommend: the Italian Kitchen Restaurant (across the street) yummy! Chicken Chicken (take out) at Seven Mile beach - so good ! The Brooklyn P&P Restaurant @ Camana Bay (wish we had found this area before our last night), the Camana Bay has lots of restaurants, outdoor bands, shops, cinema and free parking and beautiful at night. Snorkeling is amazing around the island - we saw turtles, nurse sharks, stingrays, beautiful fish, lion fish, green eel, and more- right off the beaches and the side of the road. Everyone on the island is so friendly and helpful. Nancy made the rental process so effortless. She is easy to reach. Looking forward to renting again. Thank you Nancy"

  • Exactly as described

"No hidden surprises here, at least not bad ones. Well appointed home with semi private pool (which doesn't seem to ever be used by the other owner). Great central location to explore the island, very private escape to enjoy at the end of a busy day. Great family vacation and look forward to booking again!"

  • Perfect family getaway!

"Windward Cove was awesome. Maria, your written directions and things to do were so valuable in making us feel right at home. We were a group of eight, ages ranging from 66 to 23 and we were all amazed at what the island had to offer. Stingrays, sea turtles, friggets, starfish, tarpon, you name it....we saw it!!!! After a full day of sightseeing, it was great to go back to the house and prepare a delicious dinner. We too did not want to leave and will definitely be back !!!!! Jack and Maria, thanks for a great vacation!"

  • Outstanding diving and great villa for 8 adults and one two year old.

"Thanks for a wonderful stay on Cayman Calypso. It worked beautifully for our adult family of 8 and one two year old. After spending a wonderful week on Little Cayman with nothing to get around but bicycles, I was not sure that I would be happy on the larger and more crowded Grand Cayman. But East End was just great and unlike on Little Cayman, the car was essential. The diving was extraordinary off of East End with magnificent underwater topography, canyons, swim-throughs, tunnels, etc. Ocean Frontiers was a terrific dive operation and we enjoyed the Botanical Gardens and walking the Mastik trail. We spent a day going to the West End to dive the Kittiwake, and although the dive was great, we were quick to return to the the East end for lunch going to Compass Point for lion fish tacos. Seven Mile Beach is not our cup of tea. We preferred long walks on the beach starting at the public beach just up the road and towards Morrits Resort. As divers with Ocean Frontiers we had access to kayaks and used them quite a bit. Since it was lobster season and our son was experienced at catching them, we were regularly supplied with lobster caught at the reef close to the villa. The villa was well equipped and the property manager was very responsive with our few initial requests, including a replacement for the third floor studio fold-out bed mattress which was not useable. He supplied us with an inflatable mattress that we used on the floor and when that did not work because of pump problems he supplied a regular mattress. We ate in most of the time and did a lot of cooking. The kitchen layout was great for a group of people cooking together. The one downside in the kitchen for us was that we would have preferred a full oven with broiler rather than combo micro-wave convection oven. We used the charcoal BBQ quite a bit. We loved the cascading pools and spent a lot of time in and around them. Rarely was anyone else in the pools. We also loved the colour scheme of the villa complex and the villa itself. The master bedroom is really quite wonderful and a great retreat on its own. The layout works well for a big group even though the first floor kitchen, living dining room area is not that big."
