  • Wonderful family getaway

"This home is beautiful, with a large, open plan that easily and comfortably accommodated our family of 11. It is well furnished and beautifully decorated. In other words, it lives up to its pictures. There were plenty of nice lounge chairs outdoors, and the "backyard" is a sandy beach on a charming cove. This is not really a swimming beach (lots of jellyfish and sea grass), but it worked perfectly for paddle boarding and kayaking. The swimming pool is small, but it was plenty for our 5 grandchildren. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots/pans, etc. There is also a nice grill outdoors, so we cooked and ate at home quite often. There is also a nice laundry room which comes in very handy. It was nice to be located just a short distance from Rum Bay, which has a wonderful beach area--free lounge chairs and clear water. Our grandkids loved it--plenty of safe area for swimming and snorkeling, beach grill for lunch/snacks, and all the beach toys you would want, including jet skis. One of the best restaurants on the island is just down the street (Kaibo). There is a mini supermarket (Foster's) not far from the house, and a great Italian restaurant in the same plaza (Italian Kitchen). We have been to Cayman before (at 7 Mile Beach), and we enjoyed being away from the more touristy part of town. We rented a yacht with captain for a half day, which picked us up at Kaibo and took us to Stingray City, Starfish Point, etc. It was a great part of our trip and well worth the cost. Crystal Caves, which is new to Cayman, is also nearby. In other words, you will find plenty to do in addition to just chilling on the beach. We highly recommend this home and this location for larger groups or families."

  • Very Nice Property and House

"The home was as shown in the pictures and in some cases better. Very peaceful location with less hustle and bustle than Seven Mile Beach. We had a great time and plan to return."

  • Nice secluded spot on the beach!

"Laurie's condo is everything she says it is. It is nicely appointed with all of the comforts of home. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need, and I do mean everything, including a blender which was great for frozen drinks on the deck overlooking the ocean. The property is well maintained inside and out. The pool was clean and inviting and the grounds were well kept. There are plenty of towels and some floats/noodles and such available for use. Some snorkel equipment too. Along with a couple of beach mats, beach totes and coolers too. Plenty of extras as well from previous guests who paid it forward with extra items they left behind like sunscreen, bugspray, laundry detergent. Even a couple of beers in the fridge. We carried on the tradition in kind. The condo is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle, very relaxing. There is good snorkeling right outside your back door. The other units were vacant during our stay so we had the beach and the pool all to ourselves! The is a small grocery and liquor store near by as well as a couple of restaurants. We rented bikes and rode to Rum Point and Starfish Point. You will probably need a car. There is another grocery and liguor store and a few more restaurants on the east side, about an easy 15 minute drive with almost no traffic. Boddentown had a few more places to eat and was about 20 minutes away. You never have to get into the "thick of it" if you choose not to. We only went into Georgetown once on a day with no cruise ships so it was pretty quiet. The drive took about 45 mins and was not bad. Google maps helped by letting us know when a roundabout was coming up but it was pretty straight forward. I definitely recommend this place, and dealing with Laurie was a breeze. If you are looking for a clean quiet place to stay in a beautiful location drop Laurie a line, she will answer all of your questions."
