  • Great for 4 of us

"We stayed a week at the best spot on the whole island. It was on a beautiful beach (just as great as 7 mile beach AND a lot more private) that we didn't have to share with anyone! Water was so warm and crystal clear. No rocks to step on and it was ankle to waist deep for at least 150 yds out. With the exception of one day, the water was very calm. There are initially some short weeds to wade through and beyond that it is just white sand. Great area for using the 2 kayaks that come with the house. This is away from all the tourists and buzz of Georgetown and worth the 40 min drive away from all of that. Close to 2 bars/restaurants (walk or bike) and bike ride to Starfish point. Short distance to liquor/grocery stores. Beach has 4 lounge chairs, 2 little tables and a hammock to relax on -- and plenty of areas for either shade or sun. Some boats & jet skis go by further away but not disruptive. Far enough away from Rum Point that you can't hear the people or activities; however sometimes public cars are parked in front of the house on busier days. Saw a few stingrays swim by; no jellyfish but some sea urchins and random fish. A few cats visit the yard but don't get very close to humans. House is fully stocked w/a charcoal grill, plates, utensils, blender, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, kitchen appliances. 4 bicycles (for adults). Beach towels, towels/linens. Very clean home and nicely updated. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

  • BLISS: Birds, Gardens, Turquoise Water, and sand surrounding a dream house

"We just returned from 10 tranquil days in the Gardens of Kai. The house is concept floor plan, screened in veranda, fully stocked kitchen, tropical inspired furniture, and tons of storage for personal belongings. The owners are fantastic....always quick to respond to any questions and provide details and tips that made our vacation even more special and comfortable. They have not overlooked one single amenity...they even provide beach towels and laundry detergent! We felt at home immediately! The views, gardens, beach, and surrounding area are breathtaking! Birds singing, waves lapping, gentle breezes blowing....absolutely spectacular! Driving on the left side was very easy to get used to and the Cayman drivers are relaxed and friendly. If you want privacy and relaxation, you won't find a better location on the island. A few hours spent walking on Seven Mile Beach was all we needed to get the experience of the hustle and bustle before rushing back to the tranquil Gardens of Kai. Renting a car is definitely worthwhile. We stopped at Countryside Fosters in Savannah (about 20 minutes from the airport) to do our grocery shopping and a beer/wine store across the street.....the villa is about 45 minutes beyond. Our favorite restaurant was the Lighthouse.....incredibly romantic! They have white linen covered tables on a deck suspended directly over the Caribbean Sea with the waves crashing along rocks directly's like something you would see in a movie. Thank you Mitch and Andrea for opening up your beautiful home and allowing others to experience a truly blissful vacation."

  • The condo was in a beautiful, peaceful location.

"Our kids loved swimming in the pool while we could sit there and enjoy the ocean view. The property was very spacious and well decorated. We would definitely recommend this property for families. Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada"

  • Great Location

"This condo is located in the perfect spot if you want to be close to everything on the quieter end of the island. A 3 minute drive to Rum Point and you are in the middle of all the activity and the launch point for lot's of excursions. A couple of more minutes down the road and you are at Kaibo Yacht Club. A great place for a morning speciality coffee (no regular coffee available) and a fantastic Tuesday night beach BBQ that is great for the whole family. Live entertainment during the BBQ. Great band.....lot's of requests from young children from their favorite movies and the band knew them all. Grab you snorkel gear and you can snorkel right in front of your condo, or drive anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes and you can find multiple places to snorkel. This island and it's reef is built for snorkelers and divers. You are a short drive away from several interesting restaurants; Over the Edge, Tukka, Vivians Kitchen for Lunch, Rum Point, and the Kaibo Yacht Club. And you are also a short drive to a convenience store, and 20 minutes or so from a Fosters Grocery Store. This is a perfect location in my mind."
