Secure and beautiful property

This property is absolutely beautiful. Everything is up-to-date and well taken care of. The host was great and attentive to our needs and was always there to suggest a chef which we used along with a driver which we also used. There was nine of us and we stayed for 11 days. I can’t imagine there is a more secure property in all of the Dominican Republic as security is everywhere. My wife and I do a lot of traveling and have been to many islands and countries, but the view of the ocean which is only a three minute walk away is the best I’ve seen, and you can sit in the pool and observe the beauty as the pool is on the ocean. There are four small beaches and relaxing views in lawn chairs from the rocks. The restaurant on site is called the beach club and it too has excellent food. Me and my family will absolutely be back.

Spectacular!

The design and layout of the house and its position on the water is spectacular. Everyone ranging from my eleven-year-old daughter to my parents were excited when we arrived. The house makes it very comfortable to be together as a group and has plenty of scenic spots where you can retreat to read a book. Everyone spent time together and alone sitting on the benches on the rocks overlooking the water watching the waves roll in. Inside, the house is well-furnished, has dramatically high ceilings, contains a generous amount of eclectic art and is very well-kept. There is a staff, led by Raquel and Alex that was incredibly attentive and arranged for an onsite chef to prepare our meals and make sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and my mother told me it was the most relaxing holiday that she’d ever had. Raquel helped us organize surfing, golfing and horseback riding nearby and explained how to navigate the beach. We’ll be back!

Property was beautiful. Our host was easy to communicate with. He made sure we had an abundance of information about the area. Staff was over the top nice. They had a large group to care for and sometimes cook fantastic meals for. Always pleasant!

Great house, great location, phenomenal staff!

We've stayed at MANY houses all over the world and this was one of the most amazing locations and houses we've visited. It was even better than was described on the site -- very clean, amazing pool, plenty of room for our party of 13, beautiful beach, perfect location for the activities we wanted to do (surf, waterfalls, beaches, snorkeling, shops, etc.). But, what sets this house apart was the staff that took care of us. The meals prepared by Victor were amazing -- everyone loved them every night. The kids even asked to eat leftovers for lunch the next day as opposed to going out to eat! Ana Maria and her team did a great job taking care of us -- great breakfasts, clean rooms, and they even did our laundry one day. It was a perfect stay -- tough to go home. Annia was available to immediately solve the couple minor issues we had (needing to change meal times, etc.). Thanks for letting us borrow your little piece of paradise!

Family Vacation at Sea Horse Ranch

My family stayed at VIlla Iris at Sea Horse Ranch for 9 days over New Years. The Villa was perfect for us with 5 bedrooms, a nice large central gathering area and beautiful pool and backyard. The Villa was clean is is relatively new so it is in good shape. It is a short walk through to the beach and beach Club which was perfect for us. Overall I would recommend this Villa and would stay there again.

Very nice place. Nice pool and jaccuzzi, quiet and close to town. Every room had a shower.

We paid extra for the cook and she was superb. We had full course meals every day. We had her for 12+ hours a day . We also had a cleaning lady that came ever day who washed and cleaned the house. The house looked like a mini mansion. I would definitely rent it again. The property manager Enrico was great, any issues we had he responded fast to them.

A week in paradise!

This is a lovely property in a beautiful setting! We were welcomed by the maid and by the chef whom we had hired for that night. The house was beautiful, immaculate, and so welcoming. Everything we could've possibly needed for a comfortable stay was available. Both the interior and exterior spaces were lovely; our group of 8 never felt crowded. The maid was at the house each day to clean, do dishes and laundry- including our personal laundry! The pool was a big hit; we spent a large part of most days in or around it. Seahorse Ranch, the gated community where this property is located, is impressive. They have two pools ocean side available to guests, as well as beach area for walking, fishing, lounging and building sand castles. The kids in our group especially loved it. In addition, there are well maintained walking paths, an ocean side bar and restaurant, and a full equestrian center. Our two granddaughters really enjoyed pony rides! It is an easy drive to Sosua and to Cabarete where restaurants, shopping and additional beaches are available. We did all of our grocery shopping in Sosua and easily found everything we needed. Finally, we were fortunate to meet Dean, the owner, who dropped by to make sure we had everything we needed. You cannot go wrong by choosing this property! Every single person in our group commented about how perfect everything was. We would choose it again in a minute!
