  • Wow! What a fantastic place

"We arrived and were welcomed by the housekeeper Miss Rose, what a delight. Miss Rose was available to cook our breakfast and dinner when we weren't out checking out the local restaurants. She did a wonderful job cleaning, cooking and just making our vacation easy. The condo is clean and maintained we relaxed on the balcony in the morning with tea and coffee, and then again in the evening with a cold drink. We watched the palms trees wave at us from the waters edge. We easily could get a short taxi ride to downtown Ocho Rios were we shopped, went to the beach or ate wonderful Jerk Pork,Stew Peas and Callalou. The pool at the condo is clean and not very busy. The little cove inlet was wonderful to swim and float in. What a perfect place to just relax and let the stress fall off! Mr. Forest was great to recomend a trip to Dunn's river falls, Fern Gully, and the White river. I'll be back!"

  • Could Not Have Asked for More

"We arrived as guests and departed as friends!! Our visit to Summerwind Jamaica has been unforgettable! Our hosts, Johnny and Bonnie, were inviting, generous and gracious and provided us the opportunity to experience a little bit of what Jamaica is really about – and we discovered it to be a beautiful paradise filled with bright, sunny days, warm, exotic evenings and lazy days at the beach! We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. Summerwind is beautifully decorated, spacious and truly does feel like your home away from home. The owners helped plan out our shopping and sightseeing trips, which were full of adventure and a lot of laughs! As if that weren’t enough, our meals at Summerwind were beyond delicious. Fresh fruit and veggies every day, fish and seafood (we got fresh lobster one day right from the fisherman!) To top it off, we were even treated to some local Jamaican specialties that will make you wish you never had to leave! We can’t wait to return and until we do………every little thing is gonna be alright! From the bottom of our hearts – Thank You Bonnie and Johnny for the trip of a lifetime!"

  • A perfectly relaxing and fun family vacation

"We spent a week at Coconut Cottage at the end of June to celebrate a 50 year anniversary and my father's 70's birthday. We had our two children with us ages 8 and 3 and 6 adults. I researched islands and settled on Jamaica due to the easy access from the Southeast U.S. and tropical "Hawaii like" vibe. It did not disappoint. We hired Dwayne to drive us for the week, per the owner's and other reviewers suggestion. He picked us up at the airport in a very nice van and gave us an informative drive through Montego Bay and on to the house. I would highly recommend Dwayne! The house was even better than expected. The house and grounds are quiet and gorgeous. The common areas all open up to the terrace and pool deck and lovely views East to Montego Bay. It's luxurious but laid back and casual at the same time. I never worried about my children! There was space and privacy for everyone and plenty of shady places to tuck away alone or gather and be together. My husband, children and I stayed in the two bedroom guest cottage and it was perfect for us. The staff were lovely. The food chef Leighton served was delicious, accommodating and presented beautifully. During the day we would swim early and lounge around then Dwayne would zip us down the hill to Roundhill for lunch and we would spend the afternoon at the beach. Dwayne was just a phone call away. Everyone loved the beach and resort. Dinners and evenings were spent back up at the Coconut Cottage. We did go on a zip line tour that Dwayne recommended which was a blast and we went down to Roundhill for the Friday Jamaica Night which was also really fun otherwise we had no schedule but to relax. Kim, the owner, was very helpful in answering my endless questions before our trip. We all would say it was a nearly perfect vacation and hope to return next year or sooner if we can!"
