  • Great central base camp to visit Provo

"Great communication and support. So many inclusions (bikes, snorkling gear, beach chairs, cooler, ombrella, local cellphone, beach mats...). Very welcoming experience and affordable experience on the island, even more if compared with any "beachfront" villa. We totally felt like it was our own cottage, nothing is missing. Its also greatly appreciated that they provide a island cellphone and that someone is alway reachable for any questions or recommandation. We felt secure and confident and not "left alone on the island". If you want to see around, you have to get a car anyway, even if you rent a beachfront unit at 20x the cost. Driving in provo is safe and as the island is small, you can (and will want to) see it all. This cottage/villa is centraly located, so you can get ANYWHERE within 15 min or less. Food is good everywhere on the island, but restaurants are on the expensive side. Our meal routine was: 1) breakfast at the cottage, 2) for lunch: high end sandwiches, salads and wraps to go from Graceway Gourmet (thanks for the supplied cooler and ice packs!), 3) dinner most of the time at the cottage (new Weber BBQ at your door, and full kitchen inside). Good and affordable food. Beaches are incredible, it's great to just reach in the cooler, open a beer and grab a sandwich right there in your own cooler. No need to leave the beach and wait an hour to get lunch in a restaurant. . We would totally go again, next time with the whole familly in both the villa and cottage :-) Cheers !"

  • Perfect unit in a perfect resort on a perfect beach!

"Villa Renaissance is like your own elegant private little world on Grace Bay. It is located on the west end of Grace Bay close enough to walk to everything, but far enough to be away from the big resorts with all the chairs on the beach. Just a pristine, private area of Grace Bay with miles of beach walking in either direction. This was our first time staying at Villa Renaissance. We stayed in this ground floor unit just steps to the ocean. We loved being on the ground floor! The unit is a perfect amount of space for two people and the furnishings are very tasteful. The view was breathtaking, true to the pictures here on VRBO. What we liked most about the ground floor unit is you could just walk a few steps to the beach from the unit, so it felt like you were living right on the water. The unit was perfect -- every need was thought of, from laundry detergent to wash our swim suits daily to snorkel equipment to great daily maid service to a cell phone with minutes. Mel from management took great care of us. Corell at the front desk greeted us every morning with a big smile and since he grew up on the island, he told us all the fun things to do. I'll never forget his thoughtfulness on my birthday -- he surprised me and called the restaurant and had them set off fireworks on the beach while they sang me happy birthday. I cried, I was so touched. Grace Bay on Turks & Caicos is one of my favorite beaches in the world, Villa Renaissance is the perfect, private place to stay on Grace Bay, and this unit was just perfect for us!"

  • Very nice

"This clean, well maintained villa was perfect for our family of 5. It is literally a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The pool area is very nice, with an area to grill, and a lanai for shade. When we arrived Robert greeted us with cold drinks and gave us some great suggestions on where to dine and snorkel. We hope to return again soon."

  • Wonderful Holiday rental

"The 4 of us, 2 Americans and 2 Brits, take holiday rentals around the world whenever we can and this year we wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing to cover from a somewhat traumatic year. Ocean Breeze, only steps from a truly beautiful and almost deserted beach in N. Caicos, and with its pool, garden furniture and gazebo fitted the bill to perfection. Inside was as described, comfortable and well equipped with everything we could need. However, what made our holiday truly memorable was rhe warmth, kindness and efficiency of our hosts, Darville and Kadra. They, with their delightful little daughter Nikki and their friendly dog, Roxie, lived next door and we're always available if needed but never intruded. Kadra got in groceries as requested for our arrival, organised our transport from Provo airport by taxi, ferry and another taxi to the house, provided us with a local cell phone with her number in so that we could contact her and offered to take us to a local barbecue the following evening where we could meet some of her friends and relatives. We took her up on that and had a great time and went again on our own the following week. She organised a car for us so that we could explore the island and cross the causeway to Middle Caicos which was well worth doing as we found lovely views, caves to visit, good food at Mudjin Bay and at Daniel's cafe where we also met Lovey, a local singer, talked with the very interesting Daniel and discovered the wonderful sea grass baskets made by the ladies of the local co-operative. When Kadra discovered it was Rodney's birthday, she brought us a gift pack of wine and snacks. Nothing was too much trouble for her and when the time came for us to leave she organised an overnight stay for us in Provo with taxi service from ferry to hotel and hotel to airport provided by her lovely young nephew. In spite of her busy schedule, because our car was too small for all of us and luggage, she came home to drive 2 of us to the ferry and wish us all farewell. Darville had also responded promptly to switch on a generator for us when there was a power cut. Terrific service from them both. We took a boat trip, snorkelled a little, enjoyed good food and drink and really loved the friendly welcoming Islanders and very much hope to visit again."
