  • AMAZING property for large or small groups

"We stayed in this wonderfully decorated property for the weekend to celebrate 3 people in our party having birthdays close to Christmas. Ash made sure everything was perfect & even put all the xmas decorations and tree up the week before we arrived. The house was spotless & every room is extremely well decorated and spacious. The entertaining area is open plan so you can eat/drink/cook/relax & party without being in separate rooms. The bifold doors open into a wonderful outside patio area off the lounge which would be great in the summer. Even the large sliding door at the front of the property is spectacular & gives you a great feeling of security whilst staying here. Ash's attention to detail is second to none - he even made sure the heating & lights were on when we arrived in the dark & had music playing, all remotely from his phone app. Can't wait to go back in the summer - this is the place to stay in Brighton"

  • Excellent flat, great location, highly recommend

"Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Even before arriving Gary (the host) was very accommodating and this continued throughout the stay. The photos don't do the flat justice, if far bigger than it looks, we were a group of four but it's perfect for a group of six too. The flat was very clean and furnished to a high standard- we loved the memory mattresses! Great location, short walk from station and perfectly located for the restaurants, bars and beach. It's also a short walk from the lanes. Can highly recommend the flat and the host made it even more enjoyable, by making us feel very welcome and informative. Thank you Gary!"

  • A fantastic flat in a near perfect location. Clean, well equipped, maintained.

"This is a fantastic flat. Comfortable and clean. Has a cooker (hob & oven), microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, etc but given the location your unlikely to want to cook your own food. Within only a few yards of the front door there are a good selection of eateries. Mike (the owner) met us on are arrival and gave us a tour of the property and was helpful with advice for appropriate places to visit (we are a family of 3, including a 6 year old). There's a TV with a DVD player, digital TV box (although the reception is poor so lacks channels), a Chrome card in the TV so you can steam from your mobile / tablet / etc direct to the TV makes up for the lack of TV reception, WIFI - which was fast and reliable. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the Pier / Brighton Lanes but between the property and the Pier / Lanes there are huge selection of independent coffee shops. If you do wish to cook for yourself there is a Co-Op only 1 minute walk away. We were in Brighton to run the marathon and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. If you booking for this accommodation for Brighton marathon 2018 I'd definitely book it. It's 3.3 miles from the Elite start and about 2.3 from the general start. BUT it's only about 1/2 mile from the finish. We felt very welcomed by Mike and he did make contact at the end of our stay to ensue everything was okay (there are mobile numbers in the property if you have any problems). I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again or recommending this property to anyone visiting Brighton. Hope others find this review useful. I feel very lucky to have found this property. Thank you."

  • Perfect bonkers hen weekend in a fantastic house

"Wonderland House was the perfect venue for a Hen Party weekend. The location in Brighton is absolutely ideal for walking along the sea front or going into town browsing in the unique shops in the Lanes. Jaqueline has put so much thought into each room of the house, each time we went into a room we noticed something brilliantly quirky and different like the little lights in the table or a fluffy flamingo light shade. Even sharing bedrooms with others became part of the fun, sleeping in bunks that women hadn’t done since a child gave us a mad sense of freedom. The delicious Mad Hatters Tea was brilliantly arranged by Claire from Rose and Olive (highly recommended) and went down a treat, The Proud Cabaret (also highly recommended) was very funny and absolutely mesmerising. the Hen was completely delighted with every aspect of our stay at Wonderland House and I would recommend staying here if you have a large group of people, it really is quite amazing. Highest praise goes to Jaqueline who helped us enormously with her speedy response to emails, always answering in a professional, friendly and helpful manner. We wouldn't really have known where to start without Jaqueline's list of activities to choose from, it made the whole experience very pleasurable. Thank you from all of us!"
