  • Wonderful hosts and a relaxing environment

"Polymnia and Dimitris are faultless hosts, both extremely kind and helpful; they made our stay particularly memorable. We arrived to a bottle of Dimitris's homemade wine and left with a jar of his homemade marmalade. Polymnia was kind enough to give our one-year-old daughter a present on her birthday. The apartment complex is attractively laid out, with views to the sea and to Mount Aenos, and plenty out outdoor seating in the garden shaded by olive trees. Out apartment was a good size and well equipped. The bathroom could probably do with being refurbished and the mattress in the master bedroom has seen better days, but the apartment as a whole suited us. The complex is within walking distance of two beaches and a couple of restaurants. A twenty-minute walk takes you to the nearest town, Spartia, and two mini markets, a coffee shop, and a bar. This is a lovely spot for those seeking a lazy holiday."

  • Fantastic Apartment!

"We have just returned from this gorgeous apartment, and have had a fantastic time! It is beautifully equipped and has everything you could possibly need from a holiday. Dawn arranged our taxis to and from the airport, which went really well. There was a really well thought out welcome hamper to greet us, and the apartment was spotless. For us, this apartment is in the perfect location - just far enough out of town to encourage us to explore, but close enough for an easy evening stroll into town for dinner. Dawn is a lovely person, who was always available if needed help, but was never intrusive. I cannot recommend this place enough.... Fantastic holiday!"

"This villa truly deserves its high rating it is, luxurious property with fabulous attention to detail. The property was immaculate and the huge pool area was fabulous. We were two families and both the children and adults loved the size and the cleanliness of the pool and grounds. Lots of fabulous sunbeds and shaded areas. The olive trees in the extensive gardens are such a joy to rest under on on hot afternoon. The veranda and balconies have stunning views. We did hire two cars as we wanted to explore the island but it would be possible to rely on taxis to visit nearby towns. We cannot recommend this villa enough. Agni Travel were also fabulous to deal with."

  • Wonderful villa in relaxed location

"This was our second stay in Villa Noel. We loved it the first time, but had forgotten how wonderful the views were. The villa is located in old Katelios in the valley a mile or so from the beach resort. Its a perfect location because it is in a quiet rural area with views of the sea, the mountains and the lovely gardens. Every morning from the balcony we watched an elderly greek gentlemen tending his allotment and picking all variety of fruit and vegetables. As you walk down the road to the beach in the evening (takes about 25 mins) the old ladies are sitting outside their houses in the cool and they seem really pleased if you speak to them. In fact everyone on the Island is so friendly which makes everything very relaxing. You can also walk to the bakers and the mini market in about 20 mins. The villa is excellent and has all the facilities and equipment you could need. We used the pool everyday. It is immaculately clean and the pool man came at least three times during our two week stay. Vicky and the cleaning team are also excellent and it is luxury to have sheets and towels changed twice in the two weeks. The addition this year of large pool towels was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants down on the beach to choose from and its a short drive into Skala for more choice. We have been around most of the island during our four trips, but we keep returning to Katelios and Trapezaki as our favourite places. Mounda beach is a must do at least a couple of times. You can walk from Katelios beach to Mounda if you don't mind scrambling over a few rocks at the start, but unfortunately its not possible to walk on to Skala via the beach. Paul and Lynn are perfect hosts to deal with. It is easy to keep in contact with them via email and the first time we booked Paul even rang me to introduce himself. This makes the whole booking process very relaxed and there are no worries about whether the villa really exists or what state it is in. Highly recommended."
