  • Perfect Holiday!

"This was our first trip to Ireland. We choose the Old Parochial House with the lovely 1 bedroom restored cottage, and we were SO happy that we did. It was wonderful to come home to a turf fire after a day of exploring the surrounding towns, sites, pubs, and beaches. We were close to Ennis, where we took a train into Dublin and Belfast. We rented a car for the two weeks that we were there, so we could easily get to Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Cliffs of Moher, Connamara, the Burren, and so on. The west coast of Ireland is beautiful, and pristine! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling from the states to Ireland! Only 40 miles from the Shannon Airport, too...."

  • Perfect location

"We recently returned from a stay at Lisheen house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were a party of twelve including four generations and the house accommodated everyone's needs from a first floor bedroom with bath to a crib and high chair. The setting is ideal with views of the ocean, the idyllic countryside and the Burren. Lisheen house is not far from Galway city, the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey, the Sky Drive and of course the Burren National Park. Seamus and Mary are accommodating and friendly hosts. We highly recommend this property!"

  • Wonderful and Quiet location

"Our first trip to Ireland, couldn't have picked a better place to share with another couple traveling with us. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Didn't even touch the downstairs beds and baths. Wonderful location close to the Cliffs of Moher. Great little pub and small grocery store just down the street. Highly recommend this beautiful home for a family or couples traveling together."

  • Wonderful!

"We spent 2 weeks with extended family at Ballyvara House over the holidays and had an absolutely fabulous time! The house accommodated the 18 adults so comfortably. Everyone had plenty of privacy, with a bathroom for each bedroom, and the common areas were warm and comfortable. The commercial kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook for the large group. It's a 10 minute walk to town along a path so you can avoid walking on the narrow roads. Becky was extremely helpful, responsive and sweet. Doolin is a fun town, with 4 pubs, all of which regularly have live music. I can't imagine finding another location anywhere that would provide accommodations like this for such a large group. We're talking about doing it again next year. I highly recommend it!"
