  • Quaint and comfortable

"The flat was very comfortable and cute with unexpected art and furnishings, and roomy enough for four adults. The en-suite bath was a little tight (still OK), but the main bath absolutely spacious and gorgeous with room to spread out and hands down the best shower during our travels across Ireland. Everything was clean, extra linens and towels were available and the owner provided an additional bed and rearranged things for us to accommodate our stay. The owner is wonderful and just based on my discussions with her, I would encourage you to take this space. When we arrived the parking system was temporarily down so we were unable to confirm our parking spot. The owner was quick to respond and help settle things, and followed up later. We stayed at several VRBO properties and this rated a 5th star because of her fast and friendly support. Now things to look out for. First, location. Close enough to town to walk, but be careful after dark. The surrounding climate was not as comfortable but we had no problems booking a taxi and the property is very secure. Don't be deterred by my comment, just be careful if you are walking around at night. Second, one side of the flat faces the courtyard, the other faces the train - which can be loud if you're not used to it. Third, it's a little tricky leaving the flat because you have keys to exit the flat, use the elevator, and exit the property. Luckily there were enough of us to hold doors and return keys in the flat, so if you are a single traveler you may wish to make special exit accommodations. Lastly, if you find yourself here please water the plants on the terrace. They need a little attention and you'll enjoy the task. We took advice from another review and visited Howth - great opportunity for lunch and scenic drive along the coast, well recommended!"

  • So central, affordable & well equipped!

"As the title says - better and cheaper than a hotel to be right in the center. Self-inflatable air mattress for the sofa lounge was a thoughtful touch. Smoking on the balcony, watching people go by, a real bonus. Jen was always so helpful. Self-check in system made our late arrival so easy, coming in through the gate next to the oldest pub in Ireland,The Brazen Head. Can't recommend highly enough for a mid-price stay, with all of the reature comforts. A+"

  • Lovely flat and host in a great location

"The flat is compact and really cute. It was opposite the Guinness brewery and the storehouse is behind it. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to Temple Bar. Lots of cafes and pubs around, with a Jazz bar 5 minutes away. Liam met us at 12am as we had a late flight and recommended loads of places, as well as where to stay away from! Will be staying here again when I next visit Dublin!"

  • Highly Recommend!

"Our family recently visited Dublin for St. Patrick's Day festivities. We can highly recommend this comfortable and unique Georgian townhouse near the center of Dublin. All main points in Dublin were within walking distance including the hop-on/hop-off buses and the Dart train system. The house was lovely (or perhaps more accurately, lovingly maintained) and a joy to visit. Thanks for the daffodils and decorations, Dec. May your 2017 be joyous and blessed.
