  • We enjoyed a fabulous family holiday in Johannahs's Cottage

"Johannahs Cottage is a cosy country cottage set up on the hillside overlooking the spectacular Derrynane Beach. It has the added bonus of being on a working farm ( though the cottage is set apart from the farm ) .Michael ,the owner and farmer, is always available with recommendations of where to visit and eat out and to provide bags of peat for the stove. Our children especially loved the farm dog Marco and enjoyed feeding Glick the pony . We would recommend this cottage if you are looking for a rural experience in a spectacular setting ."

  • Mooie cottage in de bergen.

"Prachtige cottage. Gelegen tussen de bergen. Uitgebreide keuken met ruime slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Zeer gezellige zitkamer. Josephine was een hele vriendelijke mevrouw die ons verschillende tips heeft gegeven over de omgeving. Zeer aan te raden voor een vakantie in Kerry."

  • New Year in Ireland

"What can I say. We wanted a get away from it all New Year and we certainly got that and more. We found this on the website and liked what we saw but when we arrived it was totally overwhelming. The cottage has just gone through a total refurbishment and is amazing. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The views from the windows was stunning. Have to say Margaret (the Manager) was so friendly and helpful. We loved the log burner and we were just happy to relax in the cosy surroundings. We have booked to go back in the summer to explore this beautiful part of Ireland."

  • Great cottage in Caherdaniel

"Loved our stay here. The location is very close to the Blind Piper and Freddie's Pub, very convenient for exploring Kerry as well. The views from the cottage are gorgeous and so picturesque. Cottage was comfortable and accurately described in the listing, but not as clean as I would have liked. There were cobwebs in the corners and on the ceiling that I cleaned up, and the cottage could have used a thorough dusting and sweeping/vacuuming. The beds were pretty comfortable but I was surprised there was no top sheet in the beds, which I'm not used to coming from the US, but that might be expected in Europe. I'm not sure, but it wasn't a problem. Kitchen amenities were good, hot water wasn't a problem, towels were provided. Great water pressure in the showers. It would have been nice to have some sort of welcome packet to explain how to turn on the radiators, etc. as well as what we needed to do before departing (in terms of cleaning up before we left). All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others! If we ever return to Caherdaniel, I would stay here again."
