"This is a very comfortable apartment. Lots of room with a functional kitchen. At few nice restaurants within walking distance. City centre is within walking distance but if you like you can take a bus from just down the street. Supermarket is an easy walk. Restaurants in oslo are pricey much cheaper to cook you own meals to mitigate cost. I discovered Bislett stadium is about 10 minutes walk away if you wanted to come for the annual track meet that is quite special. Morten is easy to deal with and helpful. It is quiet at night you should sleep well. If you have a car there is street parking I recommend getting a spot before 5 pm as it can get a bit tight but even then we found one. Nice park across the street. Oslo is a wonderful city with world class and interesting museums and also easy access to countryside. If you wanted you can take the subway to wonderful hiking trails and even cross country skiing in winter. I could easily live in oslo and be quite happy"

  • A Wonderfull stay at Oslo

"The street where is the apartment is very quiet, full night assured but the apartment is also close to both the center of Oslo (ten minute walk, 5 minutes by tram) and central Grünerloekka, with shops, bars, restaurants available. It's great to be close to the river Akerselva that lends itself to a delightful walk on foot along its shores (with waterfalls that make us think that we are in the mountains, not in a capital city!). The apartment is comfortable and practical, and it is delightful to spend the evening with a nice wood fire in the furnace of the old bakery. And the owner, Morten is concerned about the welfare of its tenants and ready to troubleshoot when problems. I recommend strongly without reservation"

  • Charming apartment, perfect location

"We spent four nights at The Old Bakery, a small, charming two room apartment located at Grunerløkka. We are a family of five, and even though the apartment was small it was big enough for us (we brought an own bed for the baby). A small but well- equipped kitchen, a new bathroom, two double- beds. The apartment was in addition furnished with two easy chairs in front of a cozy-and old wood burning stove, and a dining table with four chairs. The entrance to the apartment was through a small, very charming garden. A quiet spot, a perfect place for the children to play in the afternoons, to eat dinner or to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. Perfect place to stay for families as well as couples. Located at Grunerløkka with its many cafes, small shops, restaurants and also very close to the city centre (appr 10 minutes walk from the apartment). Highly recommended and we will be back for sure."

  • Month in Oslo

"I recently stayed here and found my stay comfortable and convenient. The home has all that is needed and is located in a nice area with easy access to public transport. Unni is very welcomimg and helpful. My family visited and i was able to entertain with meals for relatives. It was a real relaxing experience and my family is thankful for the opportunity provided by Unni and Trond."
