My daughter and I enjoyed a short stay at the oceanfront beach rental in Kailua, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Shari, who hosted us, went above and beyond to make sure our visit was absolutely perfect.From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The beach rental was in pristine condition, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay.Shari’s communication was exceptional: she was available whenever we had a question and made us feel completely welcome and at ease. It’s rare to find such genuine care and attentiveness from a host, and it truly enhanced our experience.The location was unbeatable, just a few steps away from the ocean. The property was beyond our expectations. The location was ideal - just a short walking distance from the beach, the decor exquisite with furnishings from Bali and Cheri and Scott the most hospitable hosts we have ever encountered. What more can we say?!

The cottage itself was spotless and felt very safe, which made our stay all the more relaxing. We also really appreciated the en-suite bathroom in each bedroom. The host was fantastic—always responsive and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The pool was a real highlight, too—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. If you're looking for a peaceful, worry-free getaway in a prime location, this is the place. We can't wait to return!

A delight to stay at Christian’s place! The place was super clean and orderly. He went above and beyond in providing necessary kitchenware and bathware. I felt super secure with the gate and security cameras. He was super genuine and was even kind enough to share some mangos and papayas from the trees in his yard with me. Additionally, the location was very close proximity to the hiking trail (beautiful at any time of day!), the beach, and to the town of Kailua. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I've lived in Hawaii for 9 years and return every year. There's a magical energy for those who pay attention. It puts a hook in you and you have no choice but to return again, and again. I've stayed many places, but none quite like Gordon and Vlasta's. I could go on and on about the Aloha vibe, the views, and the amenities but this place is an experience to behold so all I have to say is if you are on the edge thinking about it you won't regret a single micro second you spend in this cottage by the sea.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, quiet and located in a safe area. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk away which allowed us to watch the sunrise each day. Thank you Kate for being a great host.

We had an amazing stay in Kailua. We loved the area that had a beautiful beach nearby (walking distance), many shopping and food options with a small town feel, and very responsive and helpful hosts. Driving to all the other attractions on the island were only 30 minutes to an hour away. The lanai was a favorite spot to sit and relax enjoying the plumeria and other beautiful plants and birds. Rick and Nancy provided beach chairs, bicycles, cooler, and a grill in addition to a well furnished home in paradise! If we get to return to Oahu, we would definitely stay at one of Rick's homes! Having vacationed on other islands in years past, we decided to visit Oahu without the congestion of Honolulu and Waikiki, while still maintaining a beautiful beachfront locale. Our Kailua Beach Lofty Bungalow did not disappoint! Vicki and her husband were wonderful hosts, and provided my wife and I a beautifully designed bungalow, complete with a private patio, an outdoor shower (which we used exclusively), in an intimate setting canopied under a 300 year old Banyan Tree! The accommodations included everything you need for a relaxing beachside vacation, from a well stocked and highly functional kitchen, perfect for eating meals to all of the accessories needed for a day at the beach (chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards, etc.) The property's location is walking distance to town, and literally steps from beautiful Kailua beach. Take advantage of the easy day trips to all the wonderful spots Oahu has to offer, and look forward to your daily returns back to your cozy bungalow at the end of the day.
