This is our 2nd time staying here and we love the proximity to activities. Quite nice neighborhood.Clean and cozy.We highly recommend it.

Entertaining to watch ships! Location was conveniently located, easy to navigate to whole area. House was comfortable and charming. Looking forward to my next stay.

This was our second time staying at The Shire and we enjoyed it very much! Everything was as we remembered- the space is very clean & comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet close to the beach, wineries, breweries, and shopping. We plan to return again!

This is a lovely carriage home close to Ann Arbor and U of M campus. This was a perfect spot for an art fair stay. Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Hope to stay again next summer!

We stayed for 3 days. Had a wonderful time. Jill and Michael were so nice, and very accommodating. We had 3 dogs with us, and it was perfect for them. It is a wooded and private setting, with a great pond in the back. They could be off leash and explore, and they spent hours playing in the water. Absolutely a great place for dogs. The pictures on the site don't begin to do justice to how pretty this property is. Highly recommend it. We hope to be back. One suggestion, bring lots of extra old towels to use on feet or paws. ..it is a sandy property.
