  • Great time in Puerto Vallarta

"We were happy with all that we found in the condo, exactly no surprises. We had an issue with the internet, spoke to the desk about it, and they sent someone to fix the problem. That was easy and a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed Melissa's restaurant just down the hill with great service and lovely food. We will definitely consider this condo on a return trip and will recommend it to our friends."

  • The perfect place to enjoy Puerto Vallarta!

"We loved this little house in a local neighbourhood of Puerto Vallarta. While it is only 3 blocks from the malacon, it feels like you are miles away from the tourist crowds. The little "tiendas" on almost every corner have almost everything you need and the local veg and meat market is a 15 minute walk. Don't bother going to a supermarket, everything you need is within walking distance, and exploring the neighbourhood is great fun! I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to P.V."

  • Casa Maricielo was magical!

"Casa Maricielo was beautiful!!! We wanted a cultural experience for our large family and that is exactly what we got! The house is more like a small chateau than a villa. With floor after floor of enchanting rooms and art then a view that is definitely the BEST in the entire area. Our host communicated well! The cook and her son were very kind and helpful, they got our groceries and wine for us. And the meals were simply delicious!! The maid went above and beyond every day, she even did our laundry and we have 7 kids! We would definitely recommend Casa Maricielo and will probably stay again."

  • New Favorite!

"If you are up for a little adventure arriving and departing from Los Chonchos, then this is an amazing place to stay. On days when the water is too rough for the water taxi to make a beach landing, you will have to go to the little village of Chimo, about a 40 min. hike away, or you can hire a mule to carry your things if it is too much to hike with. Met lots of nice folks at Los Chonchos, and La Palapa Tranquila is a beautiful space, with amazing views and everything you need! We enjoyed the hike to Chimo (tiny fishing village), and relaxing on the spacious deck of the palapa was always the perfect end to the day! We only had one meal at the "restaurant" but it was wonderful! (Plan ahead if you want to eat there, they need at least a day's notice to be ready for you). Next time, we hope the water is calm enough to take the sea kayak out. The beaches are beautiful and never crowded - there are only about 24 palapas total at Los Chonchos, so never too many folks around. If you want a relaxing, peaceful getaway where you can truly practice the art of doing nothing (but with plenty to do if you choose), this is the perfect spot! Chuck and Yvonne were always very responsive and gave fast replies to any inquiries."
