  • We highly recommend this place for staying in LA! :)

"If you not only want to discover downtown LA than this is the perfect location. With the Metro station in walking distance (5 mins) it was a good starting point for all excursions (e.g. Hollywood walk of fame is only one Metro station away). We got a warm and uncomplicated welcome, and Cholla also helped us with all the little questions and problems we had as foreigners visiting LA for the first time (but defenitely not for the last time). The bungalow itself is new and decorated with love for details, we felt quickly at home there and stayed for full 10 days. There was even a table outside and we enjoyed having breakfast there in the sun or under the tree. Thanks again to the hosts for the nice accommodation-experience we had during the last days, we highly recommend this place for staying in LA! :)"

  • Great location in Studio City

"We stayed in Denny Avenue for four nights whilst in LA. The property is in a great location for visiting Universal Studios, and is in walking distance for using the Metro enabling easy access into central LA or out to the coast. The house is located in a quiet residential street is well equipped and has everything you need for a family stay. The pool and hot tub are a perfect addition to use after being out all day! The house manager Jason is very helpful, and is always available should there be any problems. Would definitely recommend the house to friends and family!"

  • Great Spot for a Girls Getaway

"We stayed here in January for my destination bachelorette party and it was the perfect spot for housing 12 girls comfortably. I find lists easier so I'll format my review as such: Pros: - House is even bigger than the pictures - TVs IN EVERY BEDROOM! We loved that. Felt like a luxury hotel. - Decor and furniture on point - Great location if you want to hop around Greater LA a little bit - Good bars and restaurants within walking distance (but beware the hill) - Plenty of towels and extra blankets - Lush greenery around the patio was just beautiful. It rained most of our trip so we didn't get to enjoy it much, but it sure was nice. - Owner was extremely responsive and professional. Heater was broken first day and he fixed it right away. Cons: - Because it's an older house it's not very open. Sometimes I felt like I was walking through a maze going from bedroom to bedroom. We propped all of the doors open to combat this feeling. If you want a lot of privacy, however, this could be a pro. - Couldn't figure out how to connect to the Bluetooth sound system - No firewood - The office/extra bedroom appeared to be in a converted garage and was really creepy. It had a flickering light and was just odd and off-putting. The girls who slept in there weren't very happy about getting stuck there. - A skunk died in the attic on our last night. Not really sure what happened there but it was pretty horrific. Not the owners fault, just an interesting experience. Suggestions: - leave a "guide book" with all of the house instructions (including how to connect to speakers) - unless someone is really into playing pool, the pool table seems like wasted space. I think a bar with a few stools would be a really cool way to transform that unused space and give it purpose - I think you could fit a couple more arm chairs in the living room just to give it more of a "conversational" feel Overall, I would absolutely recommend this spot. It's great for a large group and really has that Los Angeles feeling."
