  • Fantastic 4th of July show.

"My family & I stayed the 4th of July weekend and were amazed at the views and firework show. The fireworks were literally right in front of you. The glow of the fireworks off the ocean was a sight I have never seen. Each morning my kids ran into our room to check the surf. At night, the sounds of the waves were awesome. There was some road noise and the train did come by to wake us the first night. The kids thought the train was cool, I could of done without it, but the view far out weighted the occasional noise. The home was not your normal beach rental, it was fantastic inside. The furniture was all new and it was very very clean. My wife liked the fully stocked wine collection they had on hand. We drank several bottles as soon as we arrived and just replaced them when we went to market. The location was perfect for us to get to San Clemente pier (a little drive) to Doheny State Beach (right in front of us, we drove, but you could walk down if you wanted) and Downtown Laguna Beach (10 min drive). We are planning for next year."

  • Great Southern California beach house

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome location right on the Pacific Ocean with a great beach at your front door. Close to Laguna and San Clemente along Hwy 1. All the amenities of home with surf sounds 24/7! Hardly notice the rail line out back. Trains go past so fast you can barely hear (or see) them."

  • Beautiful condo close to everything!

"My 9 year old twins and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo. The condo is located on a beautiful street and is surrounded by million dollar homes. When you first arrive, you find that you have two parking spots available to you which is helpful for unpacking and for gearing up for local adventures. The condo is on the second floor and the stairs overlook the sparkling pool and spa. We rarely saw any of our neighbors, but when we did they were extremely friendly and suggested activities or sights that only the locals would know. Leigh and Steve, the owners, were also a fount of information as to what to see and do around the area. They even included a notebook filled with brochures, restaurant menus, and savings cards for local businesses. The bedrooms are separated by a hallway and there is an enormous walk-in closet. The Master bedroom was beautifully appointed and the bed reminded me of the quality I would find at the St. Regis, or other high end hotel. The twins' room had two full sized beds with memory foam mattresses. The living room was spacious and the high definition television made me want to buy the same model when I returned home! The owners were very thoughtful for including many of the items that we would need while we were there but we didn't want to purchase or pack for ourselves. We found 4 beach chairs, two beach umbrellas, sand toys, sand blanket, beach towels, and boogie boards in their storage closet! I really can't say enough good things about this condo. The decor was beautiful and well appointed. Every detail had been attended to. There was a large inventory of DVDs for us to watch and also a library of books to enjoy. I always like to mix family vacations with relaxation and education and we found both within a 25 minute drive. We enjoyed "Baby Beach" in the Dana Point Harbor and also visited the Ocean Institute. We could have rented paddle boards or taken sailing lessons right there but decided against that. Baby beach is perfect for kids who might not have a lot of experience in the water as there are no waves. Even though we were there in the height of summer, we easily found free parking very close to the sand at 10 am! We had that same experience on all of our beach days which included a day in Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar tide pools, and Laguna Beach. We also visited the Mission San Juan Capistrano, The Bowers Museum, and Children's Discovery Cube! I can recommend this condo without hesitation!"
