  • Excellent Location for a Big Family Reunion

"We had a great time at the beach house. We rented the whole house to accommodate our extended family of 18. Everyone had plenty of space. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The beach is literally steps away. We were lucky in that during our stay the beach was very sandy -- it was only on the last day that the rocks washed up. It was amazing to see dolphins and sea lions right outside! The kids had a blast playing in the waves, we all walked along the beach, and it was very close proximity to grocery, parks, restaurants etc. Lee was very responsive and a pleasure to work with - we will definitely come back again!"

  • beautiful house

"We just spent 6 days at the house and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. The house was beautifully appointed and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had 16 people in our group with 4 kids under the age of 9. There was still plenty of room for more guests. We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for about 35 people and all the guests commented on what a beautiful house and view we had. We had 3 additional overnight guests the night of the wedding and were able to accommodate them easily. The owner was always very nice and responsive with all my inquiries prior to our stay. If I had to make a criticism, it would be that the driveway is extremely steep. We couldn't see the house when we arrived because it was below the driveway! Plus there was always a utility truck parked at the entrance of our driveway which made it more difficult backing out of the steep driveway every time we wanted to leave. But that's not enough of a deterrent to give this rental property less than 5 stars. The huge master bedroom and walk-in closet could probably push this past 5 stars. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Best Vacation for our Family - Ever!

"This house is a work of art. The layout is perfect for a large family. You never feel crowded or on top of each other. This home is meticulously maintained, furnished and stocked with every imaginable kitchen tool. The master bedroom is our favorite room. The carpet is thick and luxurious. The bed is wonderful and the view spectacular. Our family loves the beach and the waves which are right outside the huge sliding doors. We are close to a basketball court and beautiful beach walks. We have been to other vacation houses and on cruises. But for our family of 15 there is a unanimous consensus that this is the best vacation place ever."

  • Beautiful condo close to everything!

"My 9 year old twins and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo. The condo is located on a beautiful street and is surrounded by million dollar homes. When you first arrive, you find that you have two parking spots available to you which is helpful for unpacking and for gearing up for local adventures. The condo is on the second floor and the stairs overlook the sparkling pool and spa. We rarely saw any of our neighbors, but when we did they were extremely friendly and suggested activities or sights that only the locals would know. Leigh and Steve, the owners, were also a fount of information as to what to see and do around the area. They even included a notebook filled with brochures, restaurant menus, and savings cards for local businesses. The bedrooms are separated by a hallway and there is an enormous walk-in closet. The Master bedroom was beautifully appointed and the bed reminded me of the quality I would find at the St. Regis, or other high end hotel. The twins' room had two full sized beds with memory foam mattresses. The living room was spacious and the high definition television made me want to buy the same model when I returned home! The owners were very thoughtful for including many of the items that we would need while we were there but we didn't want to purchase or pack for ourselves. We found 4 beach chairs, two beach umbrellas, sand toys, sand blanket, beach towels, and boogie boards in their storage closet! I really can't say enough good things about this condo. The decor was beautiful and well appointed. Every detail had been attended to. There was a large inventory of DVDs for us to watch and also a library of books to enjoy. I always like to mix family vacations with relaxation and education and we found both within a 25 minute drive. We enjoyed "Baby Beach" in the Dana Point Harbor and also visited the Ocean Institute. We could have rented paddle boards or taken sailing lessons right there but decided against that. Baby beach is perfect for kids who might not have a lot of experience in the water as there are no waves. Even though we were there in the height of summer, we easily found free parking very close to the sand at 10 am! We had that same experience on all of our beach days which included a day in Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar tide pools, and Laguna Beach. We also visited the Mission San Juan Capistrano, The Bowers Museum, and Children's Discovery Cube! I can recommend this condo without hesitation!"
