  • Wonderful beach cottage, perfect location!

"What a charming beach cottage! Walking distance from all downtown Del Mar restaurants/shopping and just a short walk away from Del Mar's best beach. I grew up in Del Mar (we were visiting my family) and we could not have picked a better location. Spacious and fully equipped. Great amenities for kids and families: a treehouse (with ocean view!), XBox, and bikes, etc. This rental is perfect for parties/families of 4-6 people."

  • Relaxing getaway close to the beach.

"We spent a week reuniting with family at this lovely home. It was large enough to accommodate our party and had plenty of kitchen supplies for us to prepare our own meals. It was nice to dine outside to see the ocean view and to feel the breeze each day. The best part was Kathy who was extremely easy to work with and quite responsive to all of our needs. We definitely hope to return again in the future!"

  • Lovely Home in Old Del Mar

"We had a great visit at the Enchanted Cottage in Old Del Mar. The house is accurately portrayed in the photos, eclectic and quaint. It is EXTREMELY well stocked, easily the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at. We slept great, it was a treat to have three bedrooms (MUCH better than cramming in at a hotel). Even though it is a quick walk to the restaurants and shops in Old Del Mar the house is quiet at night. Every house has it's own rhythm, and this house is a "wake up early" kinda house, in the best sorta way, you roll over in bed and the sun is shining, the birds are singing, a breeze is coming in, you feel rested :), so you check the time, and it's 6:15 ...what?!, we don't have to get up, yay! Or you can get up, and sit for a bit relaxing in the garden, or happily get a jump on the day, or take an early walk to the beach to watch all the surfers (the beach is quite a walk away, uphill coming back). It's a great house to get some down time between adventures."

  • Perfect for a family trip to the beach!

"Our family of 5 stayed for a long weekend while I attended a conference in downtown San Diego. The house is in a beautiful location with great views of the ocean. The neighborhood was quiet but within walking distance to great restaurants and shops. It is easy to take the commuter train into downtown San Diego with a station within 5 minutes from the house. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out, and our kids loved the very nice ping pong table downstairs. The kitchen was newly renovated and had everything we needed. We would definitely return."
