  • Lovely

"We were very pleased when we walked into the apartment. Views of the ocean, a well decorated apartment with a most comfortable bed. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen if one wanted to cook. Von's is very close for whatever we need. As is CVS. After 5 days, the apartment continues to be a perfect spot for us. We love sitting outside in the evening and in the morning. The first day we walked to the Concour d'Elegance at Squibb park to look at the wonderful collection of antique, very special cars and in the evening walked back along the water. We have enjoyed the fish restaurant across the street, The Thai Restaurant and wanted you to know we went to your suggestion, Bernini's last night. What a sweet restaurant. Comfortable with delicious food. Coffee places are near and have great California fresh, easy food for lunch. We spent a day and a half in Balboa park and saw not even half the museums. An amazing place even if one doesn't want to go to a museum or the zoo. So easy to get to we could even do it again. The Contemporary Art Museum is only about 5 blocks. And just a bit further are many wonderful shops. The best is to come home have a glass of wine or put our feet up with a cup of coffee and listen to the ocean. For us, a lovely place with a great location. Just wanted you to know how much we appreciated your place before the rush to leave set in."

  • Clean one bedroom condo in a great downtown location

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys city life. One half block to Petco Stadium and three blocks to GasLamp. The condo is extremely comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy your walks along the water as you continue your stroll to SeaPort Village for shopping and dining. Coronado Island is easily accessible for a relaxing day at a beautiful beach or Mission Bay Beach for enjoying the views under a tree with a good book. The owners, Jim and Robin , could not be more accommodating offering a wonderfully furnished condo at reasonable prices. The whole experience is one we would highly recommend."

  • Great Property for Multi-Family Vacation

"This property is excellent for several families to vacation together and still have their own privacy. It was perfect for us, our children & spouces and our 9 grandchildren. The house is equipped with everything you might need. There are plenty of games and activities for the kids, including trampoline and playhouse. The yards and pool area are beautiful. The owner lives close by and was quick to fix anything that needed attention. The property is within a mile of the beach. However, it has a lot of fragile furniture and other items that can be easily broken. If you have small children, they will have to be watched very carefully or another property might be more suitable. Also, it is an older property and some things did not work properly. The pool heater did not work, although the owner tried very hard to fix it and did get the spa working so we could use it. The home heating system also did not work very well - some rooms were too hot and some were too cold. However, overall, it worked out well for our family vacation and created great memories."

  • Perfect stay!

"By far, one of our most relaxing vacations. Easy to find, no traffic on our drive over or home(Phoenix). We stayed 4 nights, 2 adults and 7 kids. Plenty of space to sleep and hang out without feeling like you were on top of each other. Three floors with kitchen on top, bedrooms and bathroooms in middle and entry way and garage on the bottom. Huge closet would be perfect if you have little ones that need quiet but you want them close by. And with beach chairs, bikes and boogie boards for our use. Washer and dryer in garage. Plenty of towels. Included everything you need.....paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, fully stocked kitchen appliances. We brought food and were able to cook a bit. Two balconies with seating. Walk to the beach was about a minute. So close, we just went back to house to eat and use the restroom. About a 4 minute walk to Belmont Park (rides, games, food, etc). We bought discounted tickets online from Costco. Almost half price. Didn't love the restauarants within walking distance. For our big family it was cheaper to find papa johns nearby and order out. Subway was close. Felt like restaurants weren't very tasty and overpriced. We drive a 15 passenger van which does not fit in garage. We parked near the Bahia Hotel in public parking. Free and overnight parking was alllowed. About a 10 minute walk. Perfect for us. Garage door keypad made for easy access. Joann was very easy to work with. We had never rented a house before and it was easy, no drama!"
