This is the 2nd time staying here. The first being 20 years ago. Still wonderful! Nicely maintained property with the beach access stunningly beautiful! Appreciate all the extra toys for the beach- surf boards, boogy boards, toys, beach chairs etc.The owner did a wonderful job keeping contact when needed. Thank you for another memorable stay!!

This is a fantastic find and as stated, "Right on the Beach in Del Mar". The owners take very good care of it and t is clean and well kept. Having a number of restaurants within walking distance is a plus, especially for parking. The underground parking was an excellent find. Thank you!

Location was amazing. You just can't beat the view from the back deck and the distance to the sand. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, however we found it difficult to want to leave the property. House was well appointed with some minor wear and tear from being to close to the water. Nothing would deter us from coming back though and property as accurately described.

The location is absolutely unbeatable, on the beach front, walking distance to great restaurants and services. The lower floor apartment has three comfortable bedrooms, and the terrace just added so much color to our weekend family gathering.

Fun dog friendly stay!

The house had everything we needed for a great trip with our dogs. Dog beach was just a short walk away. The location was perfect and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

The best spot for beach loving families

The location was optimal for walking right out onto the sand to start a day full of beach & ocean entertainment. The surf was safe and the distance from the property steps to the water is short - maybe 50-75 yards? The house is thoughtfully and efficiently laid out. Two of the three bedrooms are big. One bedroom contains two beds, so the space is limited in there but it's for sleeping! The open/common space includes the kitchen, dining area, TV, sofas and another table and it is GREAT for entertaining a large family. The house was clean and safe. The garage accommodates two large vehicles bumper-to-bumper which allows for a third vehicle in the driveway. There are LOTS of food & dining options a short drive from the property. Couple things to note: the pillows could use an upgrade. The mattresses trend toward "fluffy" rather than the "firm". There was a shortage of sand toys for the little ones, but plenty of boogie boards & surf boards. Overall, we look forward to visiting again soon!

Great coastal escape for family and dogs !

We had an incredible time staying at this beach house on the Del Mar Dog Beach. It was the perfect spot for a getaway with our dogs—they absolutely loved running around the beach every day! The house was clean, well-stocked, and super comfortable, with a light, airy vibe that made it feel like a true coastal escape.The patio was a highlight—spacious, private, and ideal for relaxing after a day in the sun. We spent every evening out there with a drink, while the pups lounged happily beside us. The location can’t be beat, and everything from coffee shops to pet-friendly restaurants is just a quick drive or walk away. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with dogs who wants easy beach access and a relaxing, stylish place to stay!

Perfect Location for Del Mar stay

This is a great house for staying in Del Mar. We walked to Jake's and Poseidon for dinners and played on the beach all day. Great communication with the manager. Would definitely go back!

Pre Thanksgiving Family Celebration

Family all enjoyed the beach accessibility of the property. The beach and ocean views were incredible. It was fun watching the early morning surfers as well as the dolphins playing in the ocean. The ocean air is taking it's toll on the outside house paint and on the main wall heater in the family room. Overall, our experience was good and renters will enjoy their stay at this home.

Great place for a weekend at the beach

Can't beat the location, on the sand within walking distance to restaurants in Del Mar. Had everything our group of 4 adults and 3 teens needed for a quick weekend beach getaway. Teens enjoyed the boogie boards and adults enjoyed not having to lug umbrellas, chairs and coolers to the beach.

Birthday week
