  • Apartment is in great location, and much nicer than most vacation rentals we've ever stayed in!

"We really enjoyed our week in the apt. It is so nicely furnished, clean, and well equipped we felt right at home. The owners do everything to make certain renters have all info necessary. Location can't be better.....short walk to fishermen's wharf, Ferry Bldg., and only a block from the historic streetcar line that runs across town ( even gets you to AT & T park for ball games). Lots of restaurants, etc. in the neighborhood, plus ferry boats to Sausalito, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Oakland. There's no need to have a car with this location. We were sad to leave, but look forward to a return visit!"

  • Felt like staying in a friends house

"Our second visit to San Francisco, enjoyed the neighbourhood so much more than last time, when we stayed close to the frenetic pace of Union Square. This cosy apartment was so welcoming to come back to after a day of sightseeing, and the grocery store in the same building is a real bonus. Would stay here again without any hesitation."

  • Great views and Stay at the top of Potrero HIll.....

"“We stayed here for 9 days October till November 5th,2016, the apartment was clean & comfortable and is in a nice neighborhood for walking around. Great Views and Very quiet area, the 19 Bus is near by to go to the city and every area you wish to see in San Fran. Also we found another great seafood restaurant "Skool" the Bottom of De Haro and Alameda try it if you have a chance., the 19 Bus takes you there , it runs every 20 mns, in the evening too. Amazing hosts, and apartment I would suggest to anyone visiting the Bay area. Place to stay at SF.... I hope to go back someday ...and Stay there...Stunning sunsets from the apartment. We enjoyed coming home here after each day after exploring the city."

  • Nice apartment, great location

"My fellow grandmother and I stayed here for a month to be near our children and our brand new grandson and his 2 year old brother. The location was perfect for us - right off Cortland St - and the apartment itself was quite adequate. Since one of our primary tasks was the preparation of dinners, being so close to Good Life (wonderful local grocery store) was really a plus. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, including some great spices left by former renters. Unfortunately, as others have noted, the futon was really not intended for sleeping on for more than a night or two. We ended up bringing in a blow up air mattress so my fellow grandmother could get a good night's sleep. Unlike the futon, the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We had some issues with the quality of the internet but we were too tired out by our 2 year old grandson to ever turn on the tv or try to watch Netflix so I can't speak to how it would have worked - Pandora had to buffer in order to even play music. That being said, I'm sure if we had needed more direct intervention Anya and Trent would have worked to rectify the problem. (They were very good about responding to my emails about a few other minor problems, quickly taking care of my concerns.) The outdoor space was also a real plus - though by the end of our month it needed a gardener's attention. I will certainly consider staying here in the future."
