  • Late Spring/Early Summer Delight!

"This delightful condo is located in East Vail away from the mass of humanity that is Vail Village or Lionshead. This one bedroom unit is on the lower level of Building 9, "right on the beach"! The Gore Creek was running at full throttle and a delight to view and listen to as we ate our meals on the porch (on a delightful high top table) or enjoyed libations on the Adirondack chairs. The kitchen is nicely stocked as is the bathroom. TV and internet keep you connected. We used the condo as home base for hiking, mountain biking, trail running and exploring the adjacent towns of Leadville and Aspen. The club has a small restaurant, swimming pool, work-out equipment and outdoor grill/picnic area. Laundry facilities located in the building next-door (coin operated). Stock up on groceries at Safeway or City Market in West Vail as there is no close grocer other than a small market. We didn't us the bus to get to Vail Village as there was free summer parking in effect. The owner of the condo was a delight to work with. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great Family Vacation Townhome in Quiet Beautiful Setting

"We stayed in this Sundial townhome in East Vail for the 2015 holidays. It was very comfortable and quiet. The setting was perfect with friendly people in the area that made us feel local. Lots of space and everything worked well including WiFi. Short walks to bus stop which was frequent and dependable into village. Lots of areas to hike in peace in the neighborhood and the trail to the village (5 - 6 miles). Good access to the highway with clear roads all the time and fast routes to activity/shopping/grocery. We skied half in Beaver Creek and Vail and it was an easy commute when weather was cooperating. On our days down enjoyed the creek behind the unit and views. Ample room to park. Overall the value was great for the Vail area. We do a lot of comparing when shopping for a place. Have stayed at the Racquet Club and this was much nicer for privacy and amenities - didn't feel like an updated old place. Updates in bathrooms and kitchen were nice additions. It sounds like we know the owners since this feedback sounds positive, but we did not until we rented and will return if timing works. Seth called us to make sure everything was going well."

  • Great place for families

"We had a wonderful stay in this town home at the Vail Racquet Club. We were four adults and two young children, ages 2 and 4, and we all had a great time. The location is the best in the club, with the deck, (and bedrooms) overlooking the creek, a pond, a park, and the mountain beyond. The deck is large, with plenty of room for six people to sit around the table. The hummingbird feeders on the deck were actively used, and brought nature closer to us as we ate dinner outside. Now, on to the inside. Each bedroom has its own modern bathroom, a big plus. One bedroom has bunk beds - the 4 year old's eyes opened wide when she saw that, and quickly climbed to the top bunk. The kitchen is modern. Since it was one of the adult's birthday we even baked a cake and frosted it. The only thing missing was a mixer. Came out perfectly. The living room is roomy and comfortable, with two couches and a chair. The owner is a delight to deal with. I found that all of my emails and texts were returned within two hours. Couldn't ask for a nicer host. If I find myself returning to Vail I will definitely stay here again. The other family traveling with us live in Colorado, and have been to Vail many times. They came away impressed with the town home and its location. It's one exit away on I70 from the village, about 4 miles. There's even a free bus to the village that stops a short distance away, and runs hourly. This place is highly recommended!"

  • Wonderful hosts and home

"My family and I were in Vail for a wonderful long weekend at the Vail Dance Festival. Our vacation was made complete by being able to stay in Stacy's beautiful East Vail home (with 5 adults and 2 children fitting very comfortably). The house was remarkably well cared for and well appointed -- with a gourmet kitchen, amazing bathrooms including a steam shower, great mud room, and more. A lot of thought was put into everything a guest would need. Because homes are so much easier with children, I've rented a number of homes in different locations. This was our most comfortable stay and our most gracious host. Stacy was so easy to correspond with, super responsive, and offered up recommendations on where to eat and what to do with kids. When she found out I had small children, she was so kind to offer to bring supplies out of storage so I wouldn't have to bring them, like a high chair, pack and play, and hiking backpack. Stacy is clearly an owner who loves to host and this house is clearly her family's home that is being shared with guests like me -- she and the home were warm and inviting. And the location was also great with an easy shuttle ride into Vail Village when we didn't feel like driving. We'd love to return to Stacy's home again! Highly recommend to anyone."
