  • Great for hiking in East Vail

"This location is great for summer hiking. Besides all the places you can drive to around Vail, you can walk several great hikes from out this house's door. (Gore Creek trail, Deluge Lake trail, Bighorn Creek for the adventurous, or the paths along the hills or the walking path/bike ride to Vail) The house has nice facilities (clean and modern kitchen, bathrooms, TV and WiFi) and a hot tub to return to after hiking/skiing. The owner was very friendly and helpful."

  • Great property for a large group

"My family and friends had a great experience at this home. There were 3 total families and there was plenty of room for everyone. It had a great common area and we really enjoyed the fantastic updated kitchen. Further, Ralph was extremely responsive. There was a minor problem with the hot tub that Ralph helped us fix almost immediately. There are only 2 minor negatives that I have with the property (note - neither of which stopped me from giving 5 stars). 1) The master bath is a little outdated (the rest of the bathrooms are updated and great). 2) The week we went it was very cold outside (-10 degrees in the morning). Because the living room has so many windows, the main floor often got very cold in the morning and in the evenings. It wasn't until we started a fire that the ground floor really warmed up."

  • Great location; perfect for big or multifamily travel

"Short walk to bus that brings you to Vail (and maybe other resorts, but we just took it to Vail). Very close to the bus stop is the Racket club and Pool for the kids, to relax in after a long day of skiing. And don't forget the pub on the 2nd floor for some adult libations. We did drive to Beaver Creek (20 minutes) and Breckenridge (40 minutes), and Vail is about 10 minutes drive. We would stay here again, for sure. Had 4 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of space. Thanks much for making our trip a success!"

  • Excellent Family Vacation

"Nine of us stayed for three days in August to attend the Vail Kids Adventure Race. There was so much room that my husband & I enjoyed the plush and comfortable master bedroom, my father enjoyed the privacy of the upstairs queen and private bathroom, while the two teenage girls (ages 15 & 16) loved the two twin beds and four boys (ages 16, 12, 12 & 11) went crazy for the very cool bunk room. The kids loved having their own televisions and there was plenty of room to cook meals and serve the kids all together in the dining room. The bus stop is close and convenient for trips into the GORGEOUS Vail Village in the summer and my husband & I especially enjoyed our early morning runs from the condo to several of the local trails and paths nearby. The views were spectacular, the area was not very crowded or heavily trafficked and the local market was a quick trip to get any extra supplies we needed. There were plenty of towels and supplies for everyone and the living room is about as cozy and comfortable as you can get. If we happen to return in the winter, this will definitely be top on our list of options. It was a fantastic place for an extremely reasonable price. Russ was very proactive and helpful in getting us booked. Highly recommend!"
