  • Cozy & Comfortable with a great deck!

"I was looking to do some "glamping" with my kids, husband and another family with two young children, all under the age of 4 and one with medical issues. I would love to go camping but it's just too tricky right now, considering the medical equipment I need for my son. Eric & Michelle's house was perfect for our group. We loved having fires & s'mores on the huge deck with views of mountains (even Devil's Thumb in the distance). My husband brought his axe to chop kindling and got a great workout. The kids loved having so much outdoor space that was safe for them to run and play and the dogs loved it too. I liked that the house is not excessively plush or cluttered with breakable décor, just clean and comfortable and spacious. And it was so close to so many activities, trails, Safeway, etc. We would definitely stay there again."

  • So many great things, one glaring bad thing

"We stayed here over Labor Day weekend 2016. Husband, wife, and two kids up from the Denver area to do some biking at Winter Park. The condo is very clean and tidy and the layout is wonderful. We ate most meals in at the well-equipped kitchen (maybe some shelves in the lower cabinets to manage the plentiful cookware?). The location is also quite nice. There's a lovely view of the mountains from the balcony, which overlooks the nearby meadow. Dogs and kids frisk in the meadow. Across the road and down just a bit is the Rec center. The included guest pass got us in for a variety of activities - ping pong, swimming, gym, game checkout, hot tubs, and steam room. Perfect after a busy day of exploring the area. Safeway is just down the hill - an easy trip to the grocery store. Downtown Fraser/Winter Park is just a short drive back down the highway. Grand Lake is about 30 minutes the other direction. We so enjoyed our time here. What was the glaring bad thing? The shocking lack of toilet paper. We arrived Friday evening to find 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper in the entire place. Good thing Safeway is just down the hill. We'll pay it forward to the next guests by leaving some here."

  • Educator

"I've been to Winter Park to ski, but the place has a special magic in the summer. Dancing Aspen has its own cultivated stretch of native wildflowers bordering the driveway, and the view from the deck on the other side stretches for miles of green hills and rambling clouds. The place is comfortable, quiet, and a great place to share with friends. I completed a writing project I had planned and hope to visit again soon."

  • Well appointed, clean and quiet.

"In a great location. We could see the hot air balloon launch in the mornings. Quiet end unit thoughtfully full of the basics, TP, kleenex, towels etc. Had a grill but we never used it. Located close to the Safeway if you want to pick up soda. water, snacks and there is also a liquor store next to the Safeway. Fraser is only 2 miles from Winter Park where there are lots of restaurants and shops. There is an awesome walking path right near the condo as well as a pool and laundry facility across the street. Convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. SO much to do in the area in the summer!!! We had only a slight issue finding the unit as the street is marked 838 and not with a street name. We were very happy staying here for a week and hated to leave !"
