  • Family ski trip in Dec. 2015

"The Forsberg's lovely home was exactly as advertised. We were there during an exceptionally cold week between Christmas and New Years in 2015. The heated floors and gas fire place were welcome amenities. We enjoyed the lovely Christmas decorations that the owner was kind enough to leave up for us and the perfectly maintained and immaculate home. The detailed instructions for everything were appreciated, as was the owner's friendly and effective assistance when his guests locked themselves out. Location is convenient to Devil's Thumb Resort, Winter Park, Grand County lakes and Grand Lake/Rocky Mountain N. P."

  • Fabulous stay!

"My family (of 7) stayed here for a retreat - it was a wonderful condo! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. John was absolutely wonderful and helpful! We will be planning to stay again when we vacation back to the area! Wonderful service all around!!!"

  • Excellent family vacation

"We shared this home with 2 other families: 6 adults and 5 children (all under age 3) and had a wonderful vacation. The house was well appointed with everything we needed and the layout was perfect for a group our size. Our favorite part of the property was the fact that it backed to the creek and open space. We saw: multiple hummingbirds, swallows, blue birds, robins, red-winged black birds, blue herins, deer, antelope, coyote, cows (exciting for kids), muskrat, and fish. There was also a hot air balloon that touched down a few hundred yards from us. We caught small brook trout (fished with worms 3' below bobber) in the creek right in the back yard! Tom was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this property!"

  • Perfect place for a cabin get away - very "Colorado Mountains" feel

"Just the perfect distance away from town. (~2 miles/8 minutes). Within about 30 minutes of arrival, we saw two mule deer hanging out about 20 yards from the back porch. #awesome Gorgeous view. Wonderful deck to enjoy it from. Kitchen was well stocked with the necessary items to prepare nice meals. Excellent place if you are trying to unplug from most technology. I found on the Sprint network, that I was able to make phone calls, but that data streaming was pretty limited edition over the cell network. There is Wi-Fi at the cabin, but I believe that the service provided from the town/provider is pretty limited because again streaming movies over devices like Roku or AppleTV were more choppy than in an urban setting. Hopefully in time either the owner and or the provider will increase the bandwidth. If that challenge is resolved, then it would be an excellent place to conduct business from if you're the type of professional who likes to be plugged in, yet far enough away that you can truly focus on things different than the day today. Very, very enjoyable location. Final suggestion is to follow the owners advice and arrive in daylight if possible. Not required by any means, but it definitely was helpful to have some visual markings."
