Hermosa casa de montaña con impresionantes vistas

Le encantará esta casa de montaña con vistas a un pequeño lago con impresionantes vistas a la montaña. Su ambiente espacioso es rústico y moderno y tiene todas las comodidades que necesitará. Fácil acceso desde la autopista y por caminos pavimentados.
En el nivel principal hay 3 dormitorios: 1 con cama king, 2 con camas queen. En la planta baja hay 2 dormitorios, 1 con cama de matrimonio y 1 con cama de matrimonio y 4 gemelos (2 literas). También hay mucho espacio para colchones de aire y hay un sofá cama. También hay un pack-n-play en el armario.
Aunque creemos que hay un espacio adecuado para nuestra familia y nuestra familia extendida, recomendamos un máximo de 10-12 personas y que llame al propietario para discutir cualquier pregunta sobre el tamaño de las camas, el diseño de las habitaciones, etc. antes de realizar la reserva.
A minutos de Devil's Thumb Ranch y Snow Mountain Ranch y a una corta distancia en automóvil de Winter Park Resort y Granby Ranch.
La casa de 5 dormitorios y 3 baños está configurada con una gran cocina abierta y dos salas de estar separadas. El sótano con salida tiene una segunda sala de estar, área de bar y mesa de billar. Salga a un hermoso patio de piedra con pozo de fuego. Arriba, la sala de estar principal sale a una terraza con impresionantes vistas a la montaña.
Senderos para caminar y caminar con raquetas de nieve están justo afuera de la puerta de atrás y alrededor del pequeño lago que la casa da.

Murti-generation family 4th of July gathering

The cabin / house was as described . Plenty of room for older parents, 3 siblings and their children(2 of 3 adults). The home was large with outdoor decks for gathering and grilling and large comfortable areas for multiple small gatherings , games and catching up. Outdoor area offered everything within 45 minutes: golf, fishing , hiking and national parks. Wonderful hosts and prompt communication and answers when questions arose. We all loved it!

Spring Break Getaway

Beautiful home with plenty of rooms and space. Very clean and not far from Winter Park base. We had a wonderful time and will definitely book this house again next year!

Fantastic location: close to Winter Park ski resort, YMCA and Devil's Thumb. Very comfortable and cozy for the family to stay. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds.

Great stay

Great stay overall, listing was true to its word. Downstairs guest bedroom bed was quite squeaky and the deck furniture was a bit dated, but we really enjoyed the space for our party of 8 + 2 goldies!

Place was absolutely amazing… pond right off the back patio.. beautiful view.. enough beds for all my kids and grandkids and brother and his kids… friendly neighbors (we forgot butter at grocery store and had to borrow some) fire pit and snores in the evenings… would highly recommend to anyone ❤️

The home was well equipped and in a great location

The home has a great lay out. The temperature was somewhat hard to regulate and could have been much cleaner but the place was overall a great place.

Family reunion

It was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed the cabin, it was a great place for my family to stay. The lake in the back was so much fun. Would highly recommend this cabin to everyone . We will do it again!!

Perfect for Devil's Thumb events

Stayed with large family group for a wedding at Devil's Thumb. Happy to be able to bring my dog. House was cozy, well stocked and easily accommodated our group of 12. Surroundings are beautiful and serene. Owners were easy to work with. Great place!

Perfect family getaway pond park basketball hoop

We loved our stay here in Tabernash. It was a perfect location if you want a little less business. You are close enough to everything. A Safeway 5 minutes away and restaurants. Most places we were going was within a hour or 2 drive. My boys loved fishing in the pond and the basketball court. The pool table was a huge hit as well! We want to bring the extended family back next time. So much room. Thanks!

A Relaxing Getaway!

I spent 4 days in this lovely mountain getaway with my husband and 3 (grown) children. We had a wonderful time. It was easy to find, near so many things to do and was as homey as could be. We cooked meals in the big kitchen, played pool and watched movies in the family room, walked the trail along the water and watched the snowfall from the deck. It's such a charming area and the house itself was so welcoming. The owners were very easy to work with and get in contact with when we had questions. We'll definitely be going there to stay again!!!

Lovely

Lovely, clean accommodations. Perfect for our extended family, holiday gathering. Owner was attentive and available for questions and facilitating items left behind. Would recommend to friends/family and would gladly return to this property. Property location provided easy access to ski resort, shopping, and other outdoor activities. Also squeezed in an hour of family bowling at a local venue!

Great Place for Family Gathering

This home was perfect for the gathering of our family to attend a wedding at Devil's Thumb Ranch. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the fenced back yard worked great for my daughter's dog. The home was very clean and the kitchen well stocked with all the cooking and serving necessities of a large group. We had a great time staying at this beautiful home in Tabernash. Easy access to Devil's Thumb Ranch, Tabernash Tavern, golf at Pole Creek, and even some time in Winter Park. Sunrise over the Continental Divide from the upstairs deck is a spectacular sight every morning.

Location

The location of this property was great. The pond in the back and views were wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. The size of the house was perfect for our large family. We had some cleanliness issues but they offered to send the cleaning company over to fix the issue. In the end it was all ok. The house could use a deep cleaning but it all worked out.

Would love to come back!

Located right next to a fishing pond with some good sized fish. Centrally located between Winter Park, Fraser, Granby and Grand Lake. House was perfect for the entire family. Accommodates 12 comfortably and could sleep 16 easily with the sofa sleeper and bunk beds. Pet friendly and small kid friendly. Fenced in yard for dogs. Stroller, gate for the stairs and booster seat for the little one. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. All we needed to buy was food. We also found several good restaurants close by. Owner was very accommodating.

Nice house in Tabernash.

This house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The pictures in the listing don't begin to show the awesome views this house has. There was plenty of room for the 11 people in my group. There is grocery stores and restaurants close by and shops for the regular vacation shopping. Horseback riding in the mountains, Zip lines, hiking, Grand Lake where you can rent a boat and Rocky Mountain Park are all less than an hour away. The only con, this is noted in the listing, there is not any Wi-Fi and only 1 Television to watch regular channels. (I know some people that would consider this to be a pro) There is very good cell reception. When you are from Texas it is wonderful to sit in 65 degree dry air in July.

Awesome home surrounded by beautiful scenery

We had a large family and it more than surpassed our needs. We had 4 couples and kids ages from 18 to 2. The beds were very comfy! Thank you so much for letting us into your home. Fantastic lake to fish in and just use floats. The kids also loved the playground and basketball court. It was so relaxing to drink coffee on the deck and watch the hot air balloon come in every morning. The kitchen with all kinds of pans, dishes, appliances and spices was to die for Amazing! The water was a little hot. There was a Safeway about 8 minutes away and a City Market about 15 miles away. We liked this since we are always starving in the mountains! There were lakes at Grandby and Grand Lake, also every kind of rental boat you can name. So much fun that we didn't have time to do much else except a couple of hikes and play in the water. Maybe next year because this is our new favorite vacation spot! Thank you

Could of been perfect

On arrival at the property cleaning, and King Bed hadn't been made or done. The pillows had NO pillow covers. Coffee maker had mold in it so it had to be cleaned before any use. The dishwasher was in need of repair or replacement bottom shelf could hardly be pulled out. When cleaning crew arrived none of the individuals could speak English so they had NO idea what we wanted done. They were supposed to return the day after check in, but never did. The cleaning crew arrived again the night before check out @ 6:30 pm.

An Awe Inspiring Home in Awe Inspiring Country

A slice of the sun sneaks through mountain peaks and within minutes its rays explode forth a radiance that overwhelms the occupants of this vacation home. Thus started each morning at this spacious, comfortable home away from home. Our four adult kids and their uncle and a great family friend all spent some time together with us enjoying the place. Even my daughter's boyfriend came for a few days not to mention my son's dog. The owner predicted my son's dog would love it there and it was obvious she did. Centrally located, this home is in the perfect location - we went hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, zip-lining at Devil's Thumb Ranch, horse-back riding at the YMCA camp, soaking in Hot Sulphur Springs (twice), dining in Fraser and Granby, fishing in the pond behind the house (nice rainbow trout), and fishing in Meadow Creek Reservoir (moose sighting). All that activity in four days. Each night we returned to the house to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful views. You can bet we slept well. I knew the house did not have internet and kept that piece of information from my kids because they (we) are so addicted to technology. Turns out the lack of internet is a benefit; though the cell service was too good ;-) My youngest son replaced his phone addiction for the week with a billiards addiction. As any homeowner knows there are always little things wrong with a home. This home is no different, but we were easily able to work around the minor flaws. I communicated the issues to the owner and he responded in a timely manner offering to deal with the issues immediately. The problems did not need immediate attention, but we appreciated his willingness. That's the type of home owner one looks for. So if you want an awesome escape in an awe inspiring place, this is the home for you. It'll be our first choice when we look to visit again.

Beautiful but......

First I'll start with the pros. This home is gorgeous. It's a great area, easy to find and the neighbors are awesome. The owners were very easy to work with and were timely and thorough with communications. Now for the cons... If you are a couples only group, this house isn't for you if you have more than 4 couples. One room is crammed with bunk beds and a crib. There's a sofa couch but that leaves no privacy for one couple. We had 6 couples and made it work but don't know if we would do it again. If you like to cook, this house may not be for you. Nice kitchen but EVERY time we used the stove, the smoke detectors went off. No there wasn't any smoke but they were that sensitive. We had doors open but that didn't help. We couldn't open windows and I'll get to that in a minute. Another thing about the kitchen, if you are bringing a large group, bring your own big pans. We had to cook stuff in phases because there weren't big enough pots and pans for 12 people. There are signs/notes/ RULES EVERYWHERE! By the doors, windows, fireplace, etc all telling you what you can't do in the home. Seriously there were so many signs, my husband literally looked for one by the couch to make sure it was ok to sit on. Speaking of the signs and back to cooking, you can't open any windows. (So as the alarms are blaring, there's nothing you can do about it but wait for them to stop.) The windows are either sealed or locked shut. Seems like a fire hazard to me but it was more of a nuisance. Because the windows didn't open, we could never all get comfortable at night in the house. It was too hot up top and the couples downstairs were freezing. Iron before you go unless you want to create a makeshift stand for the board. It had no legs and the iron was probably older than me. The TV in the master bedroom only plays DVDs. Just want to throw that out there so you don't think there's Direct TV in there like we did. There's no TV other than that one upstairs at all. So if you want to gather and watch a movie, you have to go downstairs to do so. Speaking of downstairs, the bedrooms seem to be for children. That was a little scary considering there's a door that leads to outside. If I had children with me, I would make sure an adult was staying downstairs with them. Now all that being said, again I'll say it's a beautiful home. We've rented several gorgeous homes in the area for our couples getaway and this one is comparable but I don't know that we would rent it again.

We live in Littleton, CO and purchased this home to be a weekend and vacation get-away for our extended family. This area was appealing for the space, the views and the proximity to multiple downhill and cross country ski resorts plus plenty of hiking and other outdoor activities.

Very spacious home, pool table, fenced-in backyard is very pet-friendly, outdoor fire pit, wood-burning fire place. Snowshoe and hiking trails right out the door and around the small lake which the house overlooks. Also a kids playground just a short walk away.
