  • Beautiful!

"Just finished our vacation at this cabin and I couldn't have picked a better place! Amazing view of the mountains! House was just perfect for us. Great all around and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Westcliffe!"

  • Perfection!

"My boyfriend, our dog, and I enjoyed a short two days in the cabin. It provided everything as promised and the seclusion was on point! Loved the short hike out back to a beautiful view. The road was nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be in prior reviews. This was the exact getaway we were envisioning. Thanks for the hospitality and we will definitley be planning more (longer!) trips in the future. Lastly, I highly recommend the Music Pass Trail in Westcliffe! Gorgeous!"

  • Hidden Jewel

"The cabin is a hidden jewel nestled between the Wet Mountain Range and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range in the Wet Mountain valley…...Breathtaking, humbling and inspirational! Everything to do with the cabin and the property was excellent! It went beyond our expectations. All we really needed to bring were food and clothes. The cabin was well appointed and in great working order. Let there be no doubt, the description and pictures that the owner provides are spot on! Nothing is overstated in regards to the cabin or property and the pictures look as though they were taken the day before we arrived. It's obvious that the owner takes very good care of the place. The cabin is spacious, clean and has a real “homey” feel about it. As far as activities within a short drive, there is plenty to do and then some. There is white water rafting on the Arkansas river; shopping, dining, and strolling down mainsteet of Westcliffe; hiking, backpacking, rock climbing the Wet Mountains to the east or the Sangre de Cristos to the west; and visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park. If you want peace and quiet, just sit back in the cabin or step outside and the only thing you’ll hear is the sound of the wind. Big skies, big views and wildlife everywhere. We really did not have any criticisms - the cabin, amenities, property and location were great. We made lifelong memories! A big thank you to the owner and property manager of the Bar-M! There would be no hesitation in driving cross country again and staying at this same cabin…..None! The simplest review I could give this cabin and property….….Book it!"
