Lake Davis - Greenwood vacation rentals

We had the BEST experience staying at The French Broad this past weekend. My husband and I and our best friends stayed here for a couples getaway weekend. The pictures online made it look like a cool interesting cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a super cute 1924 historic home that is beautifully renovated inside. Everything it seemed is BRAND new. The whole house is decorated in a cute Scandinavian style that is consistent through out. Do you like coffee? This is a coffee lovers paradise. Fully stocked coffee bar, including a variety of great coffees and creamer. There is also a cute cart bar and glasses and things to mix drinks. We would go back with kids if needed, because it’s equipped with kids toys and kids serving ware ect. It doesn't feel so nice you can’t bring kids, they would enjoy the beauty of this home. We walked through the awesome and very safe feeling neighborhood multiple times to get downtown. Also met nice neighbors. The neighborhood felt very safe and clean. We had a great stay and recommend this VRBO to anyone and hope to return next time we are in Orlando. Also, the host Denise is super easy to communicate with and was very helpful to answer all our questions. It gets 6 ⭐️ from us if we could give an extra!

My wife and I chose to spend our Labor Day holiday weekend at The Treehouse, located less than 2 blocks north of Lake Davis in the Orlando area. It was a quiet, cozy and relaxing experience. For a 1bedroom 1bathroom it had all the amenities of modern day comfort and security. We particularly enjoyed waking up to a view of lush trees and foliage in close proximity to the Treehouse in this urban setting and visiting the nearby Lake Davis to see the bevy swans gliding elegantly on its waters. Very relaxing.

Absolutely loved the location for what I needed. Right next to Orlando Health which allowed a quick commute. The neighborhood itself was lovely, with lots of walking trails and green spaces. If you don't mind a 25-30min walk, it is very doable to walk to downtown Orlando or simply pay for a $10 uber. Overall, would highly recommend this vrbo.

Easy check in, great communication, and accommodating staff. Would recommend for a weekend get away.

This was our second stay at Scott’s place, and it was exactly as perfect as our previous stay. Of all the places we have tried over the years, Scott’s is the best; it has set the bar very high for what we expect: from the cleanliness, to the comfortable beds, terrific shower, reliable WiFi, spaciousness, and the numerous amenities, it is perfection.

Prettier than the pictures. Comfortable and lovely. It would be a great place to unplug from screens, a demanding career, and theme parks! So much to do and enjoy right there on the property.

The condo was very clean and the private parking was an added bonus. The unit is old(er) but renovated with new floors and paint. The best part of this stay was the unit's location is 2nd to none. There are numerous restaurant & pubs within walking distance and the lake across the street is beautiful. Overall, this was a wonderful stay in a nice and clean condo in a great section of Orlando.

Fantastic location! We loved walking 2 doors down to a French bakery for breakfast every morning and just a block for Mexican and Asian for dinner each night. So many great restaurants and bars(no noise issue) within a block! The home was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was spacious, the desk area was perfect for work and the kitchen/dining was a great size with everything you need. The owner provided nice extras which didn't go unnoticed by frequent travelers. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets, a hair dryer, lotion, there were a few laundry pods for the washing machine and there was even extra toilet paper and cleaning supplies. We loved our stay overall and would rent again! Our only suggestions for improvement would be: Replace the sofa(a bit small for relaxing and not padded enough to be comfortable for the length of a movie) and add curtains to the bedroom(the windows let in a lot of heat and the bedroom was always quite a bit warmer than the rest of the house).
