  • La vie en rose...exquisite!

"We had an unforgettable stay in this perfect abode. It was paradise for adults, with the open kitchen and comfortable bedrooms and pool area, and a dream playground for kids with the backyard pool and the front yard for storing bicycles. The location cannot be beat - a couple of minutes by bike to the beach on the south and equally close to the north shore. We rode our bikes several times to Fort Zachary and Duval and were so happy to come home to our little haven at la vie en rose. Wonderful touches and a stay we will always remember."

  • A beautiful retreat hosted by wonderful people!

"My son and I stayed in the Garden Suite for 4 nights. The suite was perfect for the 2 of us. My son had his own space in the outer area with a daybed and television. Steve and Kayla are fantastic hosts. They go above and beyond for their guests. We took advantage of the complimentary bicycles and cycled all over the island. Kayla makes amazing desserts which were shared with us on 2 occasions. The grounds are incredible and maintained beautifully. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend these wonderful hosts. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Key West."

  • A Fantastic Venue

"We stayed the last week of March '17. The arrangements were easy to make and follow. The condo was plenty roomy enough for us six adults. It was clean, quiet, spacious, and convenient in location. The pool was refreshing, easy to get to from our condo and was poised within a lush garden with plenty of shade to seek relief from the sun and the view from the pool of the ocean was awesome. We walked to the trolley stop, but found the parking there to be free. It is good if you head home before 5pm as the trolley stops at that time. At night we drove to Duval St and found parking under a building next to the CVS. $20 all day. We would aabsolutely do this again!"

  • Loved the house

"We booked this house online on a wing an a prayer that it would be okay. Turned out to be a lovely home with high, vaulted ceilings and skylights with a great layout for entertaining guests. The large master suite and bath are at one end while the other two bedrooms, with a full bath between, are at the other end. Our agent at Last Key Realty, Caryn, told us we wouldn't need to bring anything but our toothbrushes, and she was right. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. And the house comes with ample linens and enough towels for an army...and a washer and dryer in a detached utility/bath room to keep them all clean! 4.5 stars would have reflected our disappointment with the location. It's too far to walk to the popular eateries and clubs, and because we have a dog, bicycles were not an option for us. We had to drive and struggle with parking every time we took her with us. Also should note that there really is no yard or place to hang out. There is a small deck off the kitchen with a table and six chairs, but the only view is skyward. A tall fence/wall separates this house from the one a few feet behind it. But overall, this house is great, for anyone who wants a comfortable, inviting place to stay while you go out and explore Key West."
