  • Entire family loved it!!

"This was the most relaxing and wonderful place. Very nice home with amazing views, saw dolphins multiple times a day. We also had a couple bald eagle sightings. Very few people on the beach all week, it was like we had it all to ourselves. Loved the fact that it was so close to the gulf with very few stairs to climb. We would love to go back."

  • Wow! Found our vacation house for years to come!

"This was the first house my family has rented, and were a bit nervous about the whole process. Jim, the owner, took the time to email and call us and answer any and all our questions. The rental process went very smoothly. The pictures don't lie! This house was just as the pictures look on the website (no unpleasant surprises). Ok, the house is actually better than the pictures. House - the house is open concept at it's best. The living room, dinning room and kitchen are one big room, yet cleverly separated (this is where everyone hung out when inside and there was plenty of seating). There is also a big room upstairs that's another great place to hang out (this is where our kids hung out with each other). The house has such an open feeling to it with all the windows. On one side you look out into the bay (where dolphins could be seen every morning) and on the other side you're looking at the ocean. The bedrooms are decent size and no one felt crowded (we had six kids with us). Bathrooms were roomy (enough for mom to change and bath/shower kids with another kid brushing their teeth). The front deck (facing ocean) is like a room itself. Lots of conversation/bonding took place on it. The back deck was used to view the bay. The house is next to other houses, but you couldn't tell when you were in the house (quiet neighborhood). House was very clean and comfortable. Beach - Literally footsteps away. We felt like we had our own private beach. You could look down yonder and see a group of people that was a public beach, but no one was near us. This was nice for we could let the kids spread out on the beach with their stuff/toys and not worry about anyone taking anything. There were crabs, starfish, fish, hermit crabs, and such that could be found during the day. Yet not too many that any of the kids were afraid to swim in the ocean. At night the kids liked to walk the beach with a flashlight and see all the fiddle crabs - like all hundreds of them! We found shells, built sand castles, took walks, flew kites, and just hung out on the beach. The first night at the house, while sitting out on the beach watching the sun set, my husband asked me, "How much do you think Jim wants for the place?" Needless to stay, we love the house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and reluctantly recommend it to others (who may take it the week we want to come back :) Seriously, this house is a treasure."

  • Winter in Paradise

"We have spent the winters(Jan-Mar) of 2015-2017 in this house and we had planned to spend Dec 2017 to Mar 2018 until we bought a home on Alligator Harbor. This is our 7th year on Bald Point and Alligator point. Watching the sun rise and set from the same chair on the screen porch is an awesome experience. We are a pet family and Alligator Point is a wonderful place to walk your pet and meet Pet Friendly People. We have made enduring friendships with 8-10 couples that made buying a home here a No Brainer. These friends are a mix of locals and Snow Birds who are originally from all over America and Canada. We golf, kayak, hike and bike together, dine on the local cuisine and enjoy a community that makes you feel welcome."
