  • A clean, little apartment with all the necessities for a couples getaway.

"Was awesome waking up and being at the beach after a 2 min walk(maybe less). Apartment has a beachouse feel and the owners are responsive, helpful and very inviting. We spent 3 nights hanging out down at St Armand's circle and found a cool restaurant and desert place each night. Sand is white, water is crystal clear and people are chill on the beach. This place sleeps 2 comfortably and has a awesome pull out couch which could sleep another 2. Overall a really nicely remodeled apartment, close to beach and shops and very, very relaxing!!"

  • Awesome location!!

"What a wonderful home for a few weeks. Perfect for myself, husband and 10 year old son. Condo was clean and well equipped. It is a 10 minute walk to Lido Beach. Condo had a nice basket to load beach supplies up and walk to beach. Lot's of good restaurants to choose from just around the corner in St. Armand's Circle. My son's favorite was "Kilwins ice cream" only a few minutes away. Nice shops and I recommend "The Met" for spa service. The owner Jeff, always responded quickly with any questions I might have, thanks Jeff! I highly recommend this condo and would go back again in a heart beat. :)"

  • Walk to everything, including beach!!!

"This rental property was amazing! Right next to St. Armand's circle for great food and wonderful shopping just a hop, skip and a jump away :-). I walked to the beach every morning and we watched some gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. The home is decorated so nice with a different beach theme in each room. Very cozy and it really does feel like home. The home is stocked with everything you will need from a fully stocked kitchen to an ample supply of towels and bedding. The beds are very comfortable, slept like a baby :-) The property includes a grill, a beautiful backyard with a very quality hammock. There are a couple of beach chairs and umbrella for the beach and some bikes to ride. The owners are an absolute joy to work with. We will DEFINITELY be renting this home again! Loved it!!!"

  • Paradise on Lido

"This past October I was fortunate enough to spend a month on Lido Key at the Ringling Retreat. Sarasota has always been my go-to vacation spot. I love the shops on St. Armand's and Lido Beach. Other activities such as the Ringling Art Museum are only a short drive away. I was especially pleased with this year's choice of places to stay. I researched online numerous hotels and motels, but decided on the Ringling Retreat. It's a house made up of several suites, and I was lucky enough to get a one bedroom. The Retreat was quiet and convenient to all the local action. Such a homey atmosphere to come back to every evening after running myself ragged, cramming all Sarasota had to offer in a month's time. I really lucked out at the Ringling! I could be as active as I wanted to be or just sit back and relax. The unit came with a small kitchen, full stove and refrigerator, table and chairs, living room with couch and chairs, TV and numerous books, maps, things to do in the area, so I could plan my day accordingly, also a comfortable queen-sized bed, and a bathroom with shower, plus a beach chair. There are two requests I have while traveling, a recliner for my bad back and a good bed with soft pillows, and I was lucky enough to get both! And an added bonus was that I never heard a peep out of the neighbors. In fact, I didn't know I had neighbors until I met them. Management was terrific. I met Mary Anne and her husband, lovely people and so accommodating. On my first night, I realized she'd left me a week's worth of fruit, a gallon jug of water, and a 6 pack of coke (an item I requested beforehand) with a nice note welcoming me. Did I mention there's a lap pool nearby for swimming at $5.00 per day. That's if you get tired of the beach! I could go on and on about my Sarasota. It's just a beautiful area and known for its pristine beaches, world class shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. Being able to enjoy Sarasota was made even more wonderful by Mary Anne and my stay at the Ringling Retreat. I highly recommend the Retreat to all, young and retired. It's a beautiful escape in a beautiful city. Did I mention that the driveway was covered in shells! (One quick note, I was there during a hurricane. Sarasota fared well, and I wasn't afraid at all. Mary Anne checked on me and even planned an evacuation had the storm gotten worse.). Look into renting the Ringling Retreat for your next vacation. You won't be disappointed!"
