  • Paradise on Lido

"This past October I was fortunate enough to spend a month on Lido Key at the Ringling Retreat. Sarasota has always been my go-to vacation spot. I love the shops on St. Armand's and Lido Beach. Other activities such as the Ringling Art Museum are only a short drive away. I was especially pleased with this year's choice of places to stay. I researched online numerous hotels and motels, but decided on the Ringling Retreat. It's a house made up of several suites, and I was lucky enough to get a one bedroom. The Retreat was quiet and convenient to all the local action. Such a homey atmosphere to come back to every evening after running myself ragged, cramming all Sarasota had to offer in a month's time. I really lucked out at the Ringling! I could be as active as I wanted to be or just sit back and relax. The unit came with a small kitchen, full stove and refrigerator, table and chairs, living room with couch and chairs, TV and numerous books, maps, things to do in the area, so I could plan my day accordingly, also a comfortable queen-sized bed, and a bathroom with shower, plus a beach chair. There are two requests I have while traveling, a recliner for my bad back and a good bed with soft pillows, and I was lucky enough to get both! And an added bonus was that I never heard a peep out of the neighbors. In fact, I didn't know I had neighbors until I met them. Management was terrific. I met Mary Anne and her husband, lovely people and so accommodating. On my first night, I realized she'd left me a week's worth of fruit, a gallon jug of water, and a 6 pack of coke (an item I requested beforehand) with a nice note welcoming me. Did I mention there's a lap pool nearby for swimming at $5.00 per day. That's if you get tired of the beach! I could go on and on about my Sarasota. It's just a beautiful area and known for its pristine beaches, world class shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. Being able to enjoy Sarasota was made even more wonderful by Mary Anne and my stay at the Ringling Retreat. I highly recommend the Retreat to all, young and retired. It's a beautiful escape in a beautiful city. Did I mention that the driveway was covered in shells! (One quick note, I was there during a hurricane. Sarasota fared well, and I wasn't afraid at all. Mary Anne checked on me and even planned an evacuation had the storm gotten worse.). Look into renting the Ringling Retreat for your next vacation. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Perfect Christmas House!

"Eight members of our family wanted to be in Florida for Christmas. This was the perfect house! The Pagazzi's literally make this a home away from home for you. There is plenty of closet and dresser space and we didn't find anything that we needed in the kitchen that wasn't there. VERY WELL set up for cooking complete meals for all 8 of us. The lanai was our favorite handout for sure! Very comfy with a large table and 8 chairs and plenty of other optional seating and areas to spread out for your own space. The pool was also perfect. for you non-swimmers beware....there is a deep end! LOL The walk to the beach is short, literally 1/2 block, across a street and through a parking lot onto the sand. We had to drive because of age, disabilities and such but I easily walked it when I went alone. You are also very close to St. Armand's Circle. It's a large round-about with tons of stores, restaurants and shops...great place to hangout, shop and eat. Say hi to Mike at the Daiquiri Deck! Great food at Cha Cha Coconuts! Also very close to Siesta Keys but not on top of all the action. The lady who meets you there is super nice and accommodating. We did have issues with being able to hook up to WIFI so make sure you get the correct info so that's not an issue. If I ever wanted to visit Sarasota again I would rent this house!"

  • A perfect rental!

"We spent weeks at this lovely bungalow and hope to return in the future. The location was magnificent....down the block from the beach, walk to St Armand's Circle. Couldn't be any better. The bungalow is adorable, nicely appointed, has a private sheltered pool, and guest cottage. More than anything mentioned, the owner was always available and met any and all needs beyond our expectations. A win across the board!"
