  • Excellent Home in a Peaceful Setting!

"We chose this home for its privacy, size and amenities and we were not disappointed. The home is large and very well appointed. Everything you can think of is available for your use including a golf cart and minivan if you choose to use them to get around. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking and preparing meals even for the 10 of us. (One thing I couldn't find was a potato masher, which is no deal at all but since the kitchen had absolutely everything else, I was surprised not to find one. However, it could have been there and I just missed it.) The storage downstairs has everything you can imagine for the beach from beach chairs and toys to umbrellas and boogie boards/ floats. The home is equipped with an elevator so it is a great home for elderly guests and those with disabilities. The elevator did have an issue our 2nd day there but the owner was there within the hour to resolve it. The owner is very pleasant, helpful and professional. The home is decorated amazingly and the finishes are top notch. It really is a luxurious beach home. It doesn't have a pool but there is a pool you can use in the marina on the mainland. Speaking of mainland, yes, you need to take a 2 minute ferry ride to get on the island which for us was fine as we never left the island after getting on. There is a Publix nearby and we did all of our groceries for the week prior to our arrival. I can't speak for local restaurants since we cooked our own meals everyday. The road on the island is paved about halfway to the house. The rest of the way is was sand and huge holes. However, the owner informed me that they will be placing compacted crushed shells on that road and I indeed saw crews doing just that the day we were leaving. The beach is very quiet and the views are amazing. During Turtle nesting season (May-October), you must close the blinds after sunset in order to use interior lights. It wasn't too big of a deal since we are big fans of our oceans and wildlife. To enjoy the beach views under moonlight, I would go to the 3rd floor deck (Best spot in all the house to relax and take in the views) with a drink and relax under the ceiling fan. There were places for ceiling fans on the 2nd floor deck but there weren't any. I'm assuming there are reasons for that. All the furniture inside/outside was comfortable but the master bed squeaks loudly with just my breathing. Overall, we had an A+ time and we will definitely stay at Tranquility House again."

  • Secluded anniversary

"My husband and I boated down to LGI for our anniversary weekend. We have rented there before, but this beach house far surpassed our previous experiences. The property is simple, in keeping with LGI beach style, but very clean. The master bedroom suite appeared freshly decorated and was very comfortable. It was so nice to step out on to the wrap around deck and enjoy the amazing beach views, which are also visible from throughout most of the inside of the property. While there is a neighbor close by, we neither saw or heard them during our stay. We kept our boat on the property's dock, a short walk behind the house. Everything was well kept and we had no issues throughout the stay. The owner was prompt and curtious in responding to our booking enquiries, and we very much hope to return to this beach rental again in the future."

  • Making Memories at Angler's Club

"This was a very upscale well appointed and supplied vacation home. Very convenient having a boat dock and being right across street to community pool. Shopping very close by. Our family enjoyed our stay and will cherish the family memories made while there."

  • Fantastic location - lovely house

"We just got back from our trip to Little Gasparilla. First time to the island, but I'm sure not our last! So peaceful, slightly rustic, but close to civilization. Great fishing and beach combing. Great for family time. We brought our two dogs who had just as much fun. Cindy was great to work with - so accessible and accommodating. The house is very well stocked and furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Nice supply of beach toys and accessories so no need to bring your own. Another nice and unexpected touch was that she takes care to stock plenty of toiletry essentials and paper goods which is rare in my experience with other rentals, but very welcome in a location where everything must be brought in by boat. The house will sleep up to 8, but is really more comfortable for four as that is really all that the living room will comfortably seat. Also, be aware that because of the open design, noise travels a lot, particularly for those in the upstairs loft room. Not a criticism, because the inside of the home is lovely, but an important point if you have those in your party who might be early or much later to bed or wake! There is also a glass paned set of French doors to the loft bedroom, which does limit privacy a bit. We thought the location was just perfect - equal distance between the beach and the dock. We rented the two kayaks and had much fun with them, both from the beach and out back in the mangroves. I would not hesitate to stay here again, both on the island, and at the Dolphin Pass house. Thanks agsin, Stan and Cindy!"
