  • Fantastic location - lovely house

"We just got back from our trip to Little Gasparilla. First time to the island, but I'm sure not our last! So peaceful, slightly rustic, but close to civilization. Great fishing and beach combing. Great for family time. We brought our two dogs who had just as much fun. Cindy was great to work with - so accessible and accommodating. The house is very well stocked and furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Nice supply of beach toys and accessories so no need to bring your own. Another nice and unexpected touch was that she takes care to stock plenty of toiletry essentials and paper goods which is rare in my experience with other rentals, but very welcome in a location where everything must be brought in by boat. The house will sleep up to 8, but is really more comfortable for four as that is really all that the living room will comfortably seat. Also, be aware that because of the open design, noise travels a lot, particularly for those in the upstairs loft room. Not a criticism, because the inside of the home is lovely, but an important point if you have those in your party who might be early or much later to bed or wake! There is also a glass paned set of French doors to the loft bedroom, which does limit privacy a bit. We thought the location was just perfect - equal distance between the beach and the dock. We rented the two kayaks and had much fun with them, both from the beach and out back in the mangroves. I would not hesitate to stay here again, both on the island, and at the Dolphin Pass house. Thanks agsin, Stan and Cindy!"

  • Coconut Hideaway-The Perfect Getaway!

"My wife, myself and our Golden Retriever were at Coconut Hideaway from August 14-21. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and will be making plans to come back next year. Having been in real estate and property management in South Florida for over 40 years, we were very impressed by the level of detail provided for everything you could possibly need-groceries, boat rentals, local sites, things to do, etc. Coconut Hideaway is different from most rentals in that it has a warm home-like feel rather than the sterile vanilla decor that is typical. It actually feels like you're home on your own private beach. This time of year there were few people on the beach and those we met were very friendly and welcoming. The patio was excellent for reading, relaxing and watching the magnificent sunsets. Many times we saw dolphins swimming by and pelicans diving for their meals. A perfect getaway that we would highly recommend."

  • Perfect Beach House

"This beautiful house is right on a secluded beach. Perfect for family gatherings with plenty of room and all the beach toys for the kids. Even better than the pictures suggest. The furnishings are upscale and very comfortable. While there are no stores on the island, the Palm Island Resort is right next door and you can eat at the restaurant, which is a convenient short walk away. The owner is very accommodating although there is nothing else needed for a great vacation. You can't go wrong with Floridays."

  • Awesome Family Getaway

"This condo provided our family with an awesome getaway and perfect opportunity to spend time together. It was our first visit to LGI, and we had beautiful weather (sunny and 80s) every day. We enjoyed jumping waves in the warm Gulf water, exploring the island on the golf cart (we rented from Julie), playing games, doing puzzles and enjoying family meals on the lanai with the sound of ocean waves in the background. It's difficult to see the ocean from the condo due to palm trees separating the complex from the beach, but the ocean is merely a short walk through the "backyard." I believe it's probably one of the closest units to the beach. The island is full of beauty, fun, relaxation and shells galore. The condo had enough space for our family of five and was well equipped with kitchen needs and beach toys. Julie even provided a crockpot upon my request. The ferry rides were a great free service, but you do have to be careful to plan the times correctly when leaving and returning to the island. Julie was very helpful in providing us directions on our way there and was available when we had questions. She promptly sent us back our deposit upon our return."
