  • Beautifully Decorated & Comfortable

"This condo has everything you might need, from spices to boogie boards. Plus, the owners provide a list of excellent suggestions so you can enjoy the best beaches, fine restaurants, shopping (groceries, galleries, garments, gifts), and many sights all over the island. We followed their advice and had a wonderful time. Telescopes at 14,000 feet, a 400 foot waterfall, local eats in Hilo, a botanical garden with plants from mars (almost), a glowing volcano, a haunting hike across a crater, lava tunnels, black sand with sea turtles, farmer's markets (2), and near the condo a different beach every day. The place includes access to the beach club (a short walk through a lava park) for the best snorkeling we found. And if you just want to relax, the pool and hot tub are just out the back door; so is a gym and BBQ. A golf course surrounds the complex and many others are nearby. We spent two weeks there and really didn't want to leave. We'll be back asap."

  • Wonderful, spacious, comfortable and stylish home for unforgettable holidays

"This was our third time staying in Mauna Lani, and once again it didn't disappoint! We enjoyed cooking and grilling with our friends each evening, and hitting the very special beach each day. The house had everything we needed and more! Tastefully appointed and thoughtfully equipped. Really a good deal and a fabulous experience. The manager Kathi was flexible with our red-eye arrival and departure times, which adds tons of value and convenience to the experience. Thank you, and we'll be back!!"

  • Perfect Vacation Rental

"We stayed at the villa for 8 nights and had a wonderful time. Plenty of space for 7. The villa was very clean and well stocked. Furniture and appliances were like new. The lanai was perfect for barbecuing and relaxing. The balcony off the large master bedroom was great for watching the sunset or enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The grounds of the golf villas are immaculate. The large pool, hot tub and fitness room are right across the street. We spent several days at the Mauna Lani Beach Club - great for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. There's also a number of picturesque beaches nearby. Karen was very helpful, responsive and proactive with her communications. This rental exceeded my expectations - I highly recommend it."

  • Loved it all. Peaceful and relaxing vacation.

"This was our first stay in the Mauna Lani area. We stayed in G201 from 3/20-3/26 and loved every minute of it. My DH even said upon entering “If I had known the place was so nice, we could’ve stayed here the whole time.” (Before arriving here, we stayed in Volcano for 3 nights.) I will say I wanted to stay closer to the water but the view from the lanai was great. We could see the ocean and sometimes hear the waves. The only issue I had was that sounds from the lanais seemed to echo off the other buildings. This is a low density complex which never ever seemed crowded. Several times we felt we had the place to ourselves. This unit was huge for a one bedroom. Nice big kitchen, roomy living area and 2 full bathrooms. The couch makes into a bed, although we didn’t use it. I was thinking we could bring along one of our nieces next time and they could have the couch and their own bathroom. The bed was comfy and waking up to seeing palm trees outside was always a treat. We did have an issue with ants in the kitchen. When I called about them, we were brought ant traps. These seemed to work well, but we would still occasionally see ants here and there. No big deal to us. We kept all food in the fridge. Lots of towels available, but only one real beach towel. You know the kind of long and colorful towels you take to the beach. We discovered later that bigger “beach towels” were in the unit, but they were white. This is one thing I think they could improve upon. We did like having a washer and dryer in the unit and used it a few times. There was laundry detergent already there and available. The terraces are a quick walk to Makaiwa Bay and the beach. They have cabanas and loungers for use. The snorkeling here is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Lots and lots of fish in very clear water once you are about 25 yards from the beach. Snorkel early in the day for the best conditions. We went one afternoon and the water was a little choppy. The adjacent fish ponds make for a nice relaxing walk around the area. It’s also a nice walk over to the Mauna Lani Hotel for drinks and dinner. The pool and BBQ area were rarely busy. I went to the pool 3 times and had it all to myself. BBQs you can reserve time at or they have a grill and go BBQ if you don’t want to eat there. There’s a Foodland grocery store about a mile away. They have a nice deli and fresh food selections if you don’t want to cook. What I was missing was an ABC store, but it’s about"
