  • Incredible oceanfront condo, kid-friendly!

"This condo was just perfect for our family with 2 toddlers. The location and view are absolutely stunning -- 1000 times better than our full oceanview suite at the Wailea Fairmont where we seemed to be half a mile from the the water and overlooking resort grounds while looking at the ocean. We were worried that the condo would be too small (we have a 2 yo and 4 yo) but the master bedroom was just large enough to fit a race car toddler bed that we rented from No Ka Oi Baby Rentals (thanks for the reference Millard)! It was effortless for us to walk out to the pool, access the cove for snorkeling, or walk to Napili Bay beach -- the ground floor is perfect for a family with young ones. It was also completely safe for the kids to wander out from the lanai and play in the grass, etc. The snorkeling here was the best of our 2 wk trip (Wailea, Hana, Napili) and we just wish we had skipped Wailea and spent those 5 days in Napili. Napili Market was excellent, had lots of organic items, and was just minutes away, and Merrimans and Plantation House are a short drive from the condo. Millard's unit is well stocked and the immaculate kitchen had everything I needed, whether I was making smoothies, burgers, or baking cookies on Christmas Day (line broiler pan with foil for your cookie sheet). When my own snorkel set broke, I used one of the sets that they have available in the condo. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful unit with us, Millard! We will definitely be back and I've already recommended this unit to friends."

  • What a view!!!

"My partner and I had a full week in December to enjoy a visit to Maui and stay at this beautiful condo. I agree with previous reviews - pictures don't do it justice. I found it very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the sound of the ocean and having coffee on the lanai. The condo had all the amenities you want, from blow dryer to ironing board, kitchen utensils, washer and dryer, etc. As luck would have it, we ended up coming to Maui as there was extra heavy rainfall and we actually spent quite a bit of time indoors, catching up on movies, reading and just enjoying being there. Driving to Lahaina to explore, eat out, eat ice cream (a lot), and take some charter boat rides were some of our highlights. We can highly recommend a trip to Maui, and s stay at the Valley Isle Resort."

  • Excellent for the money!

"Great location, right on the ocean. Dinner on the lanai at sunset was a highlight. Great snorkeling locations all within 10 minutes. (Black Rock, Honolua, Kapalua) The beach next door has disappeared however. Tennis court is right across the street, as is a nice big pool. BBQ is right there 20 ft away. The unit is sized for 2 and has everything you need (except bbq tools, which I hope they get soon). Bed was good, kitchen was great, bathroom was fine. Some of the fixtures, such as the doors and windows were showing their age, but for the money, this was just excellent! We hated leaving and we will be back!"

  • Beautiful Condo in a great location

"We had a great time staying in this condo. The unit itself is modernly decorated, well maintained, and very clean. It is in a great development, with two pools, two hot tubs, and easy access to the beach. The first day there we attended a presentation by a rep from Expedia who was very helpful in describing many of the activities and tours in the area, but without being high-pressure. There are some restaurants within walking distance, and many more within a short drive. It’s in a great location for exploring the island, just a short drive from Kapalua, Lahaina, and Kaanapali. The owner was very easy to work with, and helpful in giving suggestions for restaurants, etc., in the area. Would definitely stay here again if we were ever to return to Maui."
