  • Fabulous Vacation! Perfect Condo!

"We loved our stay at the Hale Mahina in beautful Maui right on the beach. This very comfortable unit has all of the amenities including upgraded lighting, double sinks in the bathroom which has two entries, spacious main room, and a large lanai with beautiful unobstructed views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. The kitchen has upgraded appliances with granite countertops, and is equipped with almost anything one would want in terms of cookware. The Hale Mahina is a beautifully maintained, small complex; and everything is right there: ocean, beach, bbq’s, pool, spa, comfortable grassy area for relaxation. All just steps from the condo. We kept active throughout our stay, snorkeling with turtles right in front of the beach, visiting other beaches nearby, and sampling the variety of restaurants in the area. We also loved grilling right next to the ocean while enjoying the beautiful sunsets. What an ideal location! We will return to this paradise again! Marge P"

  • Luxury in an incredible setting!

"This place is simply amazing! The apartment is stylishly decorated, with tasteful art reprints, wonderful landscape photographs and a little bit of Hawaiian flair. The bed is big and very comfortable and the bedroom has a big mirrored closet and a dresser. The kitchen is fully equipped with every possible type of pots, pans, and utensils. The fridge and stove are fully functional but a bit dated although the 4 wonderfully placed gas grills (right by the ocean!) more than make up for it. We prepared and grilled seafood every day of our stay and we loved it. The kitchen also has a new blender (frozen margaritas anyone?). It also has a large sofa bed and a big tv we didn't really use. WiFi works great. The complex is one of the most beautiful man-made places I've ever been to. The apartment has a wonderful patio with an amazing view of the gardens (the colorful pictures in the post are actually taken from the patio!), the pool and partially the ocean. The bbq grills and the ocean are about 30 second walk from the patio. In the center of the small complex, there is access to the ocean through a metal staircase that drops you right into the middle of the turtle sanctuary, perfect for easy access snorkeling. The place is awash with huge turtles and if you sit by the ocean just for a minute you are bound to see one come up for air. The compound also has access to two private beaches that are very secluded and flank the turtle sanctuary on each side. It really gives you a feeling of exclusivity. The condo also comes with a collection of beach gear, chairs, snorkel gear, body boards and a cooler so you want for nothing. John is very responsive and our communications were efficient and pleasant. If you are lucky enough to be in Maui when this place is vacant - go for it!"

  • A beautiful place in a great location!!

"We loved staying at the Paki Maui! The location is fantastic! Very close to anything you would need (little shops, grocery store, restaurants, pizza place, gas station) and a short distance from the major beaches. It is right on the water, so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the balconys and hear the lovely sound of the waves crashing. The condo is just as described/pictured and perfect for a small family! The size was great, nice and big with lots of space. We had 3 adults and 2 small children and there was lots of room! The condo is stocked up with anything you would need; we used the beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and beach bag on a daily basis. The kitchen had everything and all we had to do was go to the grocery store on the first day and we cooked most of our meals in the condo. The unit was clean and newly renovated and looked great. The condo complex was kept very clean and everyone was very friendly. Parking was ok, we always found a spot. There was a car parked in the handicapped spot (which we needed) that didn't have a permit and the front desk dealt with that right away. Being right in the beach was awesome! Every night we would walk down to the grass and sit on the chairs and watch the sunset. The snorkelling outside is good, there is a narrow channel between reefs that has some amazing fish and 2 turtles that we saw everyday. On a calm day, it's all you need. There is a park right next door for the little ones but my kids just loved to hang out on the little area of sand along the channel. There are lots of little sea creatures and gentle waves to keep the kids busy! The pool is a perfect size, it was never crowded and was a nice temperature. A few people barbecued, we never did, but it looked easy enough. We always met nice people at the pool too! We always found a few loungers on the grass and it was never too crowded along the water. Amy was great to deal with, so helpful and she responded to my emails quick. I needed baby equipment and she recommended MauiBaby and they arranged to have what I needed set up before I got there and picked up after I left, which was fantastic! I contacted Amy to have bug spraying put on hold, because we have two small children, and she dealt with that right away. I can't say enough good things about our stay! We will be coming back and are looking forward to booking our next vacation to Maui! Thanks Amy!!!"

  • Best place to stay on Maui

"My husband and I stayed in this beautiful condo for 7 wonderful nights. At our very first contact with the owners I knew that we had picked the right place to stay. The condo was clean and perfectly situated for traveling all across the island. The kitchen was wonderful and even was stocked with spices. My husband's favorite amenity was no room key. The door came with a key code, so we never had to carry a key. I thought that this condo was going to be a little overrated. I was so wrong! We loved being so close to the water. Every night we left the screen door open and we listened to the ocean as we slept. We woke every morning to the most beautiful sunrise and almost daily rainbows over the ocean. At night we were witness to the most beautiful sunsets either from our bed, the balcony, or just a few steps out to the lawn. Kent and Jeannette had so many wonderful suggestions sent in an email previous to our departure about where to eat and what to do in Maui. We absolutely loved the fish market that was across the street and loved going in to see what the fresh catch of the day was. We loved how close we were to fun shops and to the grocery store. We walked down the few steps to the ocean and swam with the turtles. We sat in the hot tub at night after vigorous hikes. We went to the top of the crater, we snorkeled and sat on many beaches, we saw the blow hole and heart rock, we hiked to numerous waterfalls, we drove the road to Hana twice. We put 837 miles on our rental car on an island!!! It is rare that I couldn't find anything negative to say about our stay, except for the fact that I wished we could have stayed another week. It truly was paradise."
