The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This was our second stay at Hale Mahina, and our first (but not last) in this unit. It has everything I want in a vacation rental: 1) Nothing but water to see out the window (and all units face the ocean). 2) Master bedroom that also faces the ocean. 3) Swimmable, never crowded beach directly in front of the property. 4) A truly private balcony (Bldg A only). 5) Small, quiet complex. Can't beat a top floor unit with a loft master bedroom facing the ocean. You can see both the islands of Lanai and Molokai from the balcony. The unit was clean, and well stocked with kitchen necessities and beach items. Both real beds were comfortable, although the king size in the loft is incredibly high. The property is beautiful with a great sandy beach and sea turtles swimming by all day long. There is also a small pool that’s never crowded or noisy. This unit is perfect for a family with teens and small children. Something to note if you're planning to use the full occupancy of 6: As with pretty much all sleeper sofas, the one in this unit is unusable as a bed by an adult, and is also a pretty bad couch. (I wish more vacation rentals would just put in a futon couch.) Also, adults vacationing together might want to be aware that neither bedroom is truly private. The master is a loft open to the living room, and the second bedroom is open at the vaulted ceiling, and only has a shoji screen type door. That said, this unit is perfect for our family of 4. We loved staying here and will definitely be back on our next visit to Maui."
