  • Loved It!

"Rich's cabin came highly recommended from a lifelong friend. We were not disappointed. Off the beaten path and surrounded by wilderness and wildlife, but close enough to places for dining and supplies. We enjoyed our stay and the on property host could not have been more gracious. Only 20 minutes to the West Yellowstone entrance to the Park. Great value, again we want to say we loved it!"

  • Spacious, Comfortable Home With Plenty of Amenities!

"Our stay at the Bruce's home was quite comfortable. The upstairs unit has one bedroom with 3 beds and a separate bedroom with two beds. There were pillows and blankets to spare! The owner has thought of everything. Need a pen? A permanent marker? Notepad? Laundry detergent to use the washer and dryer in the bathroom? Electric griddle? Books to read during your stay? Board games? All present. The house is dated but I really liked the spacious, retro kitchen. The large deck looks out over the river, and the opening between mountains frames a perfect summer sunset. The river is right across the street, where we saw the remains of monstrous fish that died after spawning, as well as some living buddies. The only parts I disliked about the house was my inability to figure out the gas fireplace and the steep driveway. As we limited our drive to town (a short trip in to Elk City) and there is no phone on the property, I didn't think it was worth the phone call to inquire. We enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay. All in all, I highly recommend to anyone wanting the amenities of home and the peace the Elk City area can provide."

  • Nice extended-stay home

"I stayed here during the 2nd month of my 2-month work detail in CDA (previously stayed in their bungalow on Lakeside/11th, same owner, also very lovely). Very well-kept unit, with all the amenities of home, making it perfect for my extended stay. So close to downtown, hiking trails at Tubbs Hill, and the lake - really great location, can walk everywhere! Really appreciated the flexibility and ease of communication with the owner (Bob) throughout my 2-month stay at both rentals - very accommodating with my complicated work logistics! Totally recommend this owner and his properties!"

  • Great place to stay...

"This home was very clean and comfy. Lots of room for lots of people. The beach was great, the dock was great. Best of all was the kayaks and canoe and a bunch of water toys. No need to bring any at all. Perfect location to see the area. Only a short drive to silver wood and to sandpoint. This lake is perfect for boating, just not a lot of people and swimming was great too. We fished from the dock and caught some and even one good sized bass. Great home."
