  • Great place for family gatherings year round!

"We enjoyed our Thanksgiving family gathering in this sunny woodsy setting. The two living areas offered space for the adults and kids to have activities that didn't conflict with one another, yet not too separated. The provided games, videos, and outdoor area were plentiful and fully used. The house sets just across the road from Farragut State Park boundary with man-gates available to access. We found a walkable trail along the fence line as well as a hill to use sleds. The electric wall heat and wood burning stove kept the house cozy and warm while the outdoor temperature was in the teens. All 11 of us enjoyed having our own comfortable beds to sleep in. Having the bathrooms the downstairs could be a problem for some since there is only one bedroom and futon on the main floor. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of table service, plates, glasses, small appliances and cookware. The family is already talking about a return trip in the summer. The owner was very good with communication and helpful instruction. He put in many hours making the property ready for us since there were trees down from a storm and the electricity had been out for several days just before we arrived. Thank you Kimm!"

  • MARVELOUS MOTHER'S DAY

"OMG...another great stay at our favorite cabin by the lake. This was our first time to visit during the Springtime. It as sooo green and the beautiful lilac bush greeted us at the stairs. As always, the cabin was clean, well-stocked and very welcoming. Being close enough to Spokane to accommodate varying work schedules allowed everyone to be a part of an amazing weekend. From rafting on the lake in the sun to smores under the stars, the long weekend could not have been more special. Once again, priceless memories were made and everyone took a bit of the peacefulness with them back to the city. This cabin is so quaint and offers all the comforts of home. The new washer & dryer were great and we hope to try out the bikes on our next stay. Thanks again to Jay for sharing his special get-away with others. We can't wait for our next visit!!"

  • Very pleasant stay

"The condo was large and worked well for the three of us sisters. Compared to others I have rented, the supply of dishes and cooking utensils was much better. It was quite easy to find what we needed, but we never found a cutting board. We used folded up paper towel to keep from marring the countertops when we sliced vegetables or bread. I especially liked the shower in the king bed room. The water was soft so my hair was shining, and the large shower head was enjoyable. We enjoyed the size of the double vanity in there. For three women, all of whom wish to have their own bed, we could have wished that the king bed could be two twins that would be able to be separated. However, one of us slept on the pull-out sofa in the living room, which gave us the third bed. Overall, the unit was restful. Small children above our unit created lots of footfalls over us, and that was not restful, but the noise seemed to stop before or about 10:00 p.m. A successful, pleasant stay."
