  • Victorian charm with modern conveniences.

"A lovely home, well kept and clean, in a quiet neighborhood. The yard is green and peaceful. The furnishings & fixtures are from the Victorian era, but the kitchen is modern. As a result the overall effect is the best of both worlds, Victorian atmosphere, charm, antiques, books, games, & decor, but all of the conveniences of a modern home. Everything is super clean & in good shape. The kitchen is fully stocked, & then some. The location is close to Hyde Park square, which has shops, restaurants, & coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even though we don't need that much space, we would stay there again."

  • Outstanding family getaway

"We celebrated my husband's birthday with our seven adult children coming from Indiana and California. The home and grounds are beautiful. The spaciousness of the home provided a comfortable settings for us as a group but also allowed plenty of privacy. The furnishings are grand and unique but very comfortable. The home felt warm and inviting. Highly recommend Chef Shane's breakfast and dinner. The catered meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Fabulous place. We look forward to a return visit."
