  • Best Vacation Ever.

"A fantastic log cabin nestled in the trees on Moose River with a great view of Mt. Kino from the dock. The cabin was very clean, roomy and well maintained. The management team was always helpful if we had any questions and was very informative with the area attractions. The property has that great county feeling to it for those who want to get away from the hectic lifestyle of modern life. If you need it, the TV, Cable and WiFi as well as all the other amenities’ in the cabin worked great the whole time we were there. Our family enjoyed the huge back porch that faces the river during the morning and evening hours. As a matter of fact, it was great anytime during the day. We didn’t use the bikes but they looked new and in great working order. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals for a couple or larger group. Behind the house there is an awesome rock fire pit with benches around it. The best feature of this fire pit was the convenience of not having to go to the store and buy firewood. This cabin comes with a well-stocked wood shed. All you have to do is fill the wheelbarrow with wood and take it to the pit and lite it. That's it! With the dock on the river it made it nice to have our boat close so all we had to do was walk down the steps to the dock and motor off to the lake. No driving to a marina to take the boat out. If you like to see nature this is the place. During our stay we saw moose, lots of deer, loons, ospreys, ducks and much more. If you’re a wildlife photographer or someone who wants to try to photograph the wildlife, you will encounter many opportunities in this area of the lake. Another nice thing about the Rockwood and Greenville area was the friendliness of the local people. They were always willing to provide information on what to see, where to go and not go in the area. This is very helpful if you're new to this area of Maine. This property would be ideal for a hunting/fishing/vacation lodge trip. I highly recommend this property and the management team for your next trip. If you’re anything like our group, you won’t want your vacation at this cabin to end."

  • Perfect Thanksgiving!

"Me, my hubby and our dog stayed at "Just One More Day" over for the week of Thanksgiving. Our stay there was heaven! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We saw deer multiple times in the yard and had two visits from a red fox! He was absolutely beautiful. The house was cozy and felt like home as soon as we arrived. We had fire in the wood stove and it kept us warm the whole week. We spent Thanksgiving there and what a meal we had! The kitchen was amazing and we really loved cooking on the big gas range. It was extra nice sitting down to dinner with the snow falling outside and a warm fire inside. We checked out as much of the area as possible between naps. The weather was mixed rain and snow all week so the only day with a view of Kineo was the day we went home. We still checked out a few camp sites in the area and will definitely be back to the area and and the house as soon as possible! We certainly could see why the house is named "Just One More Day" and we were so lucky to stay an extra day! Thank you so much to the owners for sharing your little piece of heaven :))). • Great location for our Baxter State Park adventures

"This house is on a quiet street in Millinocket, ME (although I guess most streets are quiet) and was a perfect "base camp" for our day trips into Baxter State park. The house was clean and the 3 of us each had our own bedroom with ceiling fans which came in handy since it was a little warm by Northern Maine standards. I will definitely rent here again on my next trip to Baxter State Park (hopefully soon!). The owners were very quick with responses to any questions we had or information we asked for."
