  • So glad we stayed here!

"Comfortable, clean, peaceful, private, larger than expected. Views are phenomenal. Ideal location for day trips. Property manager, Wanda, insured everything was to our liking. Looking forward to returning in the near future."

  • Nice house in town and close to everything; just right for a family of 4.

"We really liked staying in this house in Bar Harbor. The listing described the location and amenities accurately. It was a clean house with good beds. The kitchen was stocked with enough utensils. The owner was quick to answer emails and even stopped by one day to see if we needed anything. The best part is its location. It is so close to downtown that we could walk for dinner and not hassle with parking. We'll definitely come back here."

  • cute cottage near waterfront on quiet peninsula

"The cottage was a very nice size for the two of us (although I did use a second room for my clothing and suitcase since the bedrooms are small.) The bed and couches were very comfortable, and the windows keep the cottage bright all day. We went down to Acadia National Park several times, and the drive is manageable, if not short. We also went north to Compobello, and found that drive very reasonable as well. Millbridge has some restaurants and a grocery store, and is very close. We also enjoyed walking around the wildlife refuge and up pigeon hill, both of which were easy walking distance. The kitchen has just about everything you could need for cooking (although there's no dishwasher.) There is also quite an impressive collection of DVDs to watch, some of them quite good. Finally, we did steam some lobsters bought from the man several doors down, and that was quite fun. All the neighbors were wonderful and friendly too! We could scarcely have asked for anything better!"

  • Quiet retreat

"The property is beautiful and serene. Close to the town of Milbridge but far enough to be away from it all. The house has all the comforts of home. We enjoyed hiking up Pigeon Hill. Even our 2 year old grandson hiked. We had a great time at the wedding on Pond Island."
