  • This is a stunningly beautiful property.

"Our family of 8 adults very much enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor beauty of this lovely property. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with all necessary tools, pots, even a Keurig coffee maker to accommodate individual tastes. We so enjoyed hours of sea glass hunting as well as exploring the rocky coastline. We made several trips to Winter Harbor for ice cream, lunch and enjoying the little shops including a very special art gallery/studio, "Whopaints". We've been coming to this area for 40 years and continue to marvel at the treasures, bounty and beauty it has to offer, including nearby Schoodic Point. We hope to return in the future; can't be soon enough!"

  • Relaxation at its best!

"We had a wonderful time at this cottage! We have not relaxed this much in years. We enjoyed Schoonic Point several times! Ventured to Acadia national Park! Saw an awesome sunset at Cadillac Mountain! The view from cottage was amazing! If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay this is it! Bar Harbor not a bad drive and well worth the visit! Winter Harbor was welcoming with a must visit to Gerrish's for breakfast or lunch! Overall a wonderful vacation we will be talking about for some time! Thanks Audrey and Karen for renting to us! We hope to come back again!"

  • Very Relaxing

"Enjoyed the cottage and our relaxing time. Weather wasexceptional, really enjoyed watching the ducks out in the bay. It was chilly, but cottage had a fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Plenty to see and do in area, Schoodic Peninsula nearby and worth a few hours towatch"

  • Perfect Spot on Gouldsboro Bay

"Our third year spending a week in this family cottage on Gouldsboro Bay, and have already asked Laura to book us for 2016. Quiet, rustic, oceanfront with a nice view and breezes off the bay through the screened porch even on hot days, just the way we like it. We recommend the Darthia Farmstand in Gouldsboro, Painted Pepper Farm's phenomenal goat's milk gelato, and the local farmer's markets (Milbridge or Machias) for fresh blueberry pies. Hikes nearby at Petit Manan Point, in the National Wildlife Refuge, with dogs welcome on leash, and up Pigeon Hill (on the road out to Petit Manan) are perfect for hot summer days. Looking forward to next year!"
