  • Charming

"Lovely house. Just the right size in just the right location. Kitchen has lots of equipment should you want to cook, but also walking distance to town for many options. Great weekend away!"

  • Well maintained, good location, exceeded expectations.

"Elijah Hall House is conveniently located in Rockland and is ideally situated for outings to Camden, Mt. Battie, Owls Head and local beaches and lakes. The house comfortably accommodated our family of five adults and two children (twins age 11). The property is well maintained and accurately described in the VRBO listing. We will recommend Hall House to relatives and friends. Petrillo Family Annapolis, Maryland Warren, Rhode Island"

  • Beautiful, clean and cozy.

"We just left Rockland Maine today and have already decided that we will be back for sure. The house is wonderful, so clean and comfortable. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay a great one. The house is not only clean and comfortable but it is stocked with everytrhing needed for your stay. The kitchen is great and you will find everything possible for cooking everything and anything. If you are not looking to cook, there are very good places to eat in Rockland and Camden. We have stayed at 6 other VRBO houses on the east coast and this one was the very best. The ownrs Keith and Kelly left no stone unturned. We highly reccomend this house to stay at during your travels."

  • What a gem!

"We absolutely LOVED this downtown Rockland gem of a home. It was very close to the harbor and downtown, easy walking distance for us and we're not big walkers; we could even walk to dinner. The upstairs bathroom has a brand new washer and handy. The only caution I have is that the beds are a bit old and creaky. Everything is clean, and we ended up sleeping really great there, but I was a bit worried at first. The kitchen was well-stocked (there was even a lobster pot) and Steve went and bought us lobster crackers just in case we wanted to cook there. The yard is really lovely with huge hostas and other nice plantings. In short, it's exactly as pictured and maybe even prettier than the pictures. Wifi, basic cable also included. I don't know if I'd want to be in a house with toddlers who weren't good with stairs yet. The staircase, like in many old houses, is a tiny bit steep. Some of the steps are a bit small, but anyone who's confident on their feet will be fine here."
